I hope this means they get an X Factor slot with the addition of Cheryl.. and that Nicki can gain more recognition over here

I don't actually think Cheryl adds anything to the song, but I guess its mainly her name that they want

Cher has even said that if she could perform with anyone it would be Nicki Minaj.. So if Cher gets to the final that could be a possibility ?

Yes yes yes! I really hope she does get a slot, that would Cheryl performing 2 weeks in a row (Promise This is out Oct 25, and Check It Out is out 1st Nov) but I guess Nicki and Will could perform alone as Chezza doesn't add much. I'd love Cher and Nicki to duet, they could do Your Love  With Cheryl's name, pretty much guaranteed top 10, especially with an XF performance! Nicki's my fave rapper atm, and probably in my top 3 fave musical acts atm, would be a shame for her to flop here

Wonderful. I'm under no illusions though - if it weren't for the genius sample this would be SUCH a let down.

LOL if Cheryl performs this on X Factor I will literally LMFAO

Her inclusion is so pointless.

Just watch when all the Cheryl loons label this a Cheryl song like they did with Heartbreaker. I will achieve new levels of rage.

Nicki is really starting to rack up the hits now, she has 3 top 100 hits, will get a fourth this week with Check It Out and maybe a 5th next week with Bottoms Up?

I suppose that's inevitable when you desperately feature on every single track you can get your hands on.

Yes, but she's been doing that since the start of 2010 in the USA while she's only just starting to get hits here.

Nicki Minaj must be relatively big in her own right here though as Lil Wayne's album track What's Wrong With Them feat. Nicki Minaj got to #83 for seemingly no reason

How anyone can classify a TOP 100 position as a hit is beyond me. -_-

Anyway nicki minaj hasnt & wont ever have a hit over in the UK, thank the lord. As silver rocket says she just desperately goes on every track she can and ruins it for 20seconds or so.

I said 'top 100 hit', not 'hit'. There's a slight difference. :P

'Top 100 Hit' or 'Hit' peaking low in the top 100 isnt a hit, so there is no such thing as a 'Top 100 hit' :P

shame her own song with her on lead vocals missed the top 40

she could be like Lil Wayne, his own songs didnt do amazingly here (Lollipop only got to 26, despite being a worldwide smash I believe) but with guest vocals he's had a lot of hits, next year, maybe she'll get top 40 with her own song

 Why you hatin' on Minajnator? But I would prefer to see a couple of her own hits become big, rather than feature on alot of songs that do relatively well.

Does it really matter what the defination of 'hit' is? A Lil' Wayne album track to chart is pretty good! :o And IIRC it peaked mid 50's on iTunes?

She's only managed one moderately successful hit in America, it's all just ridiculous overhype for not a lot.

-_- Oh please, minajnator? Ergh worst thing in music next to n-dubz. :puke:

Yes there is. Anything that goes top 100 is a top 100 hit. There will be no further discussion of this.
