September 1, 201016 yr Looks like Stromae will stay on the B-list and be removed next week or the week after seeing as it's making no further impact than low top 30 on iTunes and is 'released' on Monday. Such a shame, I wonder why it's not crossed over much here when it's been #1 everywhere else.
September 1, 201016 yr Olly added...cue the 'oh my god, what sheep they are only adding it because it's #1 in the midweeks' type uproar I didn't notice that, it's so flippin' true though. :lol: It's amazing how sometimes they do add it based on if it's doing well, and sometimes they continue to ignore it (i.e. The Wanted).

September 1, 201016 yr Tinie stuck on B while Labrinth is A-List? Hm. Perhaps the chart battle between them could be closer than expected. Anyway, lots of great songs moving up this week :wub: Let The Sun Shine, The Island, The Bike Song, Ill Behaviour, Coma Cat and Shame namely. Lol @ them adding Olly Murs, they shouldn't have bothered. I like the new Magnetic Man tune but not as much as I Need Air (or Katy On A Mission)

September 1, 201016 yr It's french. We No Speak Americano being mostly in Italian (and some barely comprehnsible English) didn't seem to stop it becoming one of the biggest sellers of the year though, so I really had a lot of hope for Alors On Danse going at least top ten in the UK.

Come on. We No Speak Americano is hardly an italian record, its a novelty dance song with a few words muttered in Italian. It's like saying Sash - La Primavera was a big italian hit - and even that had a bit more lyrics. If Eros Ramazotti had a huge hit in the UK i'd be more surprised. Not even Tiziano Ferro or Laura Pausini cracked the UK market when they were huge everywhere else for a while.

I suppose I should be thankful it has gone low top 40, joining the group of other fantastic huge European #1's from this year that have stalled at 21-40 in the UK; Waka Waka, Satellite, I Like, Wonderful Life and now probably Alors On Danse :arrr: At least making a small splash is better than doing nothing at all I suppose...

September 1, 201016 yr Plus, we never know, Alors on danse could be one of those songs that get popular after its release. It's kind of depressing how it's satalled on iTunes though atm.
