Well seeing as they're re-releasing with Flo'Rida on it...

 

They wouldn't dare release it by itself as they know there is a high probability of it bombing due to people already owning the album - its a cheat really and just proping them up and tiding them along so they look more successful than they actually are

 

Surely isn't that just common sense, to have the single version as a remix, so it gets more sales. Lots of people do it already. I'm actually shocked not even more people do this. Let's face it, these really popular album tracks like Missing You by the Black Eyed Peas, Dance in the Dark, The Silence, etc. wouldn't chart as well now, if they were to be released, hypothetically, but promoting a good remix of the songs would give people an excuse to buy the song again.

 

It's like why Hard flopped. It got way too popular back in January, even getting airplay and everything. Now it just seems old. Radio 1 play-listing a good remix of the track would've really helped it go top 40.

It was because it was like the 5th official single from the album, and the album had sold a lot by then if anything. The few sales it got in January wouldn't stop it from being a hit if it was going to be one, the single before it was only a minor hit too.

 

Looks like The Script will be 1 soon, i do really like the song i hope they get to number 1 next week but i really hope Alex gets to number 1, :)

Why on earth does La Toya's plastic surgery addicted sister have an entry in the top 300? Is Why Did I Get Married Too getting a release in the UK now or something?
So, Alesha's officially underperforming. I've heard the snippets of 'Radio' and 'Baddest Chick', they're not bad but so far haven't caught my attention. I hope she'll go top-10 next time, Asylum are still pretty confident in her.

She's still ahead on iTunes and she has physicals which The Script don't have. There's 0.01% chance of The Script overtaking - they'd need like a 200% lead on iTunes for the rest of the week to overtake her now, it ain't gonna happen. :)

Didn't It's Not A Dream make the top 150 last year though. This is an even bigger flop! It's all going as we expected for poor old Sharon...

I believe so, and considering this is a fairly well known song too so has the instant recognisability factor that It's Not A Dream didn't have, it's probably all gone a bit pear shaped. That said, I didn't expect to ever see it in the top 300, has she even done any promo? To be brutally honest though, even I, Corrsloon extraordinare, haven't downloaded this song. Why would I when the album's out on Monday? The album should crash in at #122 next week :yahoo:

Well exactly; whatever tiny market appeal Sharon Corr may have, it's almost certainly in the albums not the singles. But I really don't expect to see either in a top 75 chart anytime soon.
