Not sure how to create a poll, but tomorrow a huge amount of albums are released an should be one of the biggest battles for the number one album for a while, among the contenders are Linkin Park, Weezer, The Script, Phil Collins, Interpol, Grinderman and Royskopp, so what do you guys think will be number one, personally I think all those albums will be kept from the top by Robert Plant's new album Band Of Joy

IMO it'll be either Script or Linkin Park - othing else has a snowball in hell's chance. Plant has never had a solo #1, so why would he now?

Maybe The Script or Linkin Park? I think both bands are popular, and The Script seem to be having a good hit with "For The First Time".
It'll be The Script or Linkin Park, as above... depends on whether Linkin Park have lost their album buying fanbase as well as their single buying fanbase

I think it's a clear battle between Linkin Park and The Script. I wouldn't be surprised if Robert Plant was top 5 though with Katy and Brandon.

It's sooo hard to call. I'm going for Linkin Park. Either way it should hopefully be a good sales week [for once].

01 Linkin Park

02 The Script

03 Robert Plant

04 Brandon Flowers

05 Katy Perry

The Script have a huge single on their hands, Linkin Park don't. Both of them are more of the 'album' artists but the single success could do wonders. Linkin Park have a long history and huge established fanbase. But Script are more popular with non fanbase-public.

I'll say the Script will be #1.

I have no idea, although i highly doubt Brandon will get another week at #1. I hope he doesn't drop too much.

I wouldn't say The Script were much of an albums act over a singles one, their debut went double platinum because TMWCBM went top 3 and Breakeven hugn around like a bad smell. Saying that, LP have had a much stronger singles record up to now than most rock bands... this is too close to call.

Next Week's Top Ten Albums:

01 Linkin Park

02 Brandon Flowers

03 Katy Perry

04 Robert Plant

05 Script

06 Eminem

07 Phil Collins

08 Mumford & Sons

09 Biffy Clyro

10 Stone Sour

With the new compilation Mash Up Mix 2010 being the highest new entry on the Compilation Albums.

Yes, because Katy on her third week (when her first week sales weren't even that huge) will clearly outsell the first week by the followup to an enormous #1 album by a band that have proved they're still current by having another big hit single...

Stone Sour won't stay top 10 either, it'll copy the likes of Bullet For My Valentine and Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold, top 10 début then plummetting (having said that, A7X did well to only fall to 20 on week 2)

On your list, I'd say move The Script up to at least #2 if not #1, swap Eminem & Phil and Mumford & Biffy and throw in Interpol instead of Stone Sour.

The Script with ease although ideally i'd love Brandon to stay at #1
Poor xx, in an ideal world, they'd climb to #1. But I'll be amazed if Linkin Park don't have the #1 in the bag, despite Catalyst underperforming.
Linkin Park quite handily. Though The Script will hang around far better, while LP will plummet unless they get some big push/hit single.

This but Brandon and Katy other way round. Interpol low top ten. Most of the rest top 20 or top 30.

I think Phil Collins has got it in the bag to be honest.
Although it could easily be The Script, Phil Collins or Linkin Park, I hope its the XX following it being quite cheap in most shops plus continued Mercury exposure.
