Die Atwood, Robyn and Loick Essien bounced off the playlist the week of release why do they do that.Alesha deserved at least one more week.

Because they're all flopping.

Well, Robyn and Loick are. Die Antwoord are doing about as well as expected.

I love the video and the song is really good too. Hopefully she'll get another top 10 hit.

 Also, Mz Bratt was INMWT List last week

(Speaking of which Dré, you STILL haven't changed the name of that list - I've mentioned this about 10 times! It's called the INMWT List now)

It wasn't last time I checked, but then I don't check their website everyday to see if they change anything.

And I'm keeping the name list, because that's what it's named in my archive and I'd like to keep the lists with the same names. No point in mentioning it again, it doesn't make a difference to anyone, so?

Fair enough I guess.

LOL what a flop for good old Justin Bieber, already out of the playlist. That song didn't even make the top 300 on iTunes.
Find it strange that Biffy are still on yet they take LP off when their album's literally just come out.
Have no idea why they've playlisted Duck Sauce- I cant see them getting another hit

On the contary, I could see this being a surprise number 1 hit when it's released.

:o Wow that The XX have been 13 weeks and gone 3x platinum!!! That's rare for a song but deserved to them!

What still no Alexandra Burke, what is the World coming to. How is she ever going to get to No 1 without them.

I think the irony of this comment is that Alex got to #1 inspite of ANY much Radio support. I was listening to her interview on R2 this week - she's certainly got the charisma + ideas/plans needed for a lasting career imo - but i couldn't understand why they didn't play her new #1 single for her ? - i found out, exactly like R1, it isn't on the R2 playlist AT ALL either and if my local radio stations are anything to go by they are also snubbing it yet still play her past material! - even its audience figures actually dropped on the latest airplay chart despite midweek #1 news! - will it reverse that slip drastically in the next update? I think it might end up a fan base hit just like JLS 'The club is alive' and crash down the chart at a continual unprecedented rate with relatively poor overall total sales for #1 single....

I think this song would've been removed weeks ago if it wasn't for their subsequent Mercury nomination, then win. Not that I'm complaining though.

Aaah, Bruno & Cee-Lo up to A-List  with Marina and Scouting For Girld added to the playlist this week! :D

But my biggest :w00t: goes to Talay Riley 'Humanoid' added to the Upfront playlist

I think it was cancelled

I can't believe Shame is not yet A-listed! :o

It's a future UK number 1 you know.

stromae :arrr:

Was inevitable. :( The song just isn't popular enough in the UK to make a major impact - the fact it was b-listed, got several spins on Radio 1 and the video (albeit shockingly edited) got airtime still didn't give the track the sales boost to make the top 20. Even this Sunday I suspect Stromae will only peak again in the 21-30 region. It'll start dropping down again from next week.

We should be happy it even got to #27 in the UK.

Our tastes are much more in line with the US and Australia than Europe, which is bizarre seeing as we're connected to mainland Europe via a tunnel  Look at Waka Waka, it went low top 40 in these three major territories yet smashed practically everywhere else. And now Stromae, which I doubt would do anything at all in those two countries. I suppose we should be thankful that we get the odd crossover hit like Stereo Love and Release Me.

Thank-you I was being ironic but Steve Wright did play SWY when he interviewed Alex this week on R2.R2 have not playlisted SWY but they have played it more than R1.The song climbed on the radio airplay charts from 26 to 22 last week.I think commercial radio have supported the song as much as they could even for them it is very marmite. Why would Example still remain on the A-list when he is also flopping yet Alesha shoved off.

Because Example was released this week, Alesha was released last. It's only a valid comparison if Example isn't off next week,.
