So obvious that it will be No.1 because of X Factor

Probably will be No.1 but is dire, bland and forgettable.

Terrible. Hopefully it flops. You get people with real talent putting out great music and it gets no recognition. But when someone enters a contest, fades away, announces he's gay (which everyone knew from his first audition), and they chart in the top 10... really annoys me.

Just seen this on The Box; what the hell have they done to his voice? It sounds like Mika...

The song isn't much better :puke2:

This is growing on me but only slightly. His voice sounds awful but the song is becoming listenable for me. Still, defenetly doesnt deserve to be a #1.
I do not like the fact they did a cover for his first single. Shows how much effort they put into him :/ . I much prefer Donkeyboy's original version too. However, he does look good in his video (although the video IMO is cringe-worthy). Guessing no.1 thanks to X-factor....

I dont see it being #1, it is unfortunately really bland and forgettable.

Terrible video, the dancing

Sounds like mika/scissor scisstors material which isnt good.

If they have two artists performing on x factor maybe the other artist will hit #1 instead.

Really disapointed with this..

Maybe the second song will be a lot better..

Olly Murs should have won.

I remember people saying the same about Leon Jackson's 2nd single :kink:

And the same thing about Leona's Happy

And if they are planning worldwide they must be bonkers, they seem to think x factor winners can try sell globally now because leona, leona's special, no other winner will experience her success again. Anyone else managed it since 2007/2008? No.

I wonder if he got to have any input in what was released..doesnt sound like him at all.

I now think this will be #1 as Radioactive has been moved forward a week. Stupid move for KOL :(
Joe has a good chance at 1 now, he could do well in Europe if the song has been a hit before. His sound is more europop but the video sucks.

With respect - Cowell hasn't got behind anyone else in the way he did for Leona. He made sure he had all the very best producers/writers etc. and with the might/influence of Clive Davis and a promotional campaign of "What would Madonna do" aiming her squarely at the US market and Clive claiming her to be the new Whitney/Mariah it's not suprising. Everyone else has had a 'bog standard' promotion.

Without that same level of promotion Echo found it's level.

A press release was sent out revealing that Cowell and Davis would work together in a first-of-its-kind partnership on both the song and producer selection for Lewis's debut album, entitled Spirit.

He backed leona because firstly america was already intrested before leona won the show, and simon knew investing in leona would be very rewarding and she had the potential to be worldwide like she is today. :)

Anyway back to Joe, i wonder what kind of performance he will do on X Factor, will he dance, or just sing..the dancing is awful in the video! :o

But this is a cover and a n.1 in some european countries

it hasnt been getting any airplay in dublin as of yet. does anyone know when it hits radio

Stop saying Leona is a worldwide megastar. She managed only two hits in the USA. Her last album flopped big time in USA and most European countries. She must be forgotten now there.
