On the albums chart, there are 3 new EPs in the top 21 - Labrinth #3, Status Quo #11 and The Wombats #21. I assume Tinie's EP isn't eligible for the album chart as it's not even in the top 300.

Yes, it's #191 which isn't actually that bad for a song by a band like Status Quo which has received nul promotion. The EP is #11 on the albums chart also. It could indeed go top 20 if physicals are strong. Isn't it a charity single? Could even make top 10 but doubtful.

In The Army Now is being re-released for the Help For Heroes and The British Forces Foundation charities. The video was shown in full after Simply Red on ITV1 last night. Quo don't seem to have any more promo coming up this week, so the single will have to rely on word of mouth to chart well. Radio 2 the only ones playing it, which is a bit disappointing.

None of the x factor songs are making the impact i was expecting, i guess there wasnt any great performances last night.

Labrinth outselling Tinie Tempah? :manson: Well, 2010 has been the year of the non-no. 1 single so I guess I shouldn't be surprised if 'Let The Sun Shine' did end up selling more but 'Written In The Stars' is by far the better song and will surely stick around much longer overall in the charts.

 

Also I'm sure Kylie Minogue will be no. 1 in the physical sales chart - a good 8-10k possibly there. Can't see Labrinth's track selling anywhere as many cds.

She's doing OK tbh, she's actually climbing faster than some songs that have peaked top 20 this year. I just might cry if she doesn't peak at least top 40 :lol:

Liam, its at #91, its hardly climbing and i dont see it getting in top 40, dont cry though! :lol:

 

Hopefully this means no more 3OH!3, i think they are just so irrelevant in music, just dont have any impact.
