When is the single version of Miami 2 Ibiza released? Is it before or after Tinie releases his album? It'll be absolutely huge, but it'll suffer if it is an album track for its first week of charting.

Surprised to see The Wombats looking to do just as well in the singles chart as their last releases. It surprises me that most of the bands that arrived at the tail end of the 'landfill indie' period haven't done too badly this year (Scouting For Girls, Hoosiers, One Night Only released a passable single)

Ah, so it'll be like Teenage Dream again. Perhaps that'll get two versions of the song in the top 10 again, if enough people check out Tinie's album.

 

Plus Katy B could also have 2 songs in the top 10 in that case! EDIT: Actually, probably not, if there'll be 5 new entries. It'd be cool if Perfect Stranger knocked out Katy On a Mission though. Has an artist ever replaced one of their own songs on the iTunes top 10?

Oh God, i loved the kooks when i was about 12. Looking back at there music now it wasn't really good haha!

I never thought The Kooks were that bad. I loved Naive, She Moves In Her Own way and Always where I Need To Be back in their day.

 

I do really like The Wombats new single though, hope they can get a Top 20 hit this week.

Good. :D 'Just The Way You Are' is a brilliant track compared to the forgettable 'Let The Sun Shine'. Anyways, this week it's all about Tinie - something I thought I'd never think. Interestingly, I didn't realise Labrinth had produced 'Pass Out' and 'Frisky'. Who produced 'Written In The Stars'? Whoever it was, they've done a great job giving the backing music some depth and atmosphere.

It won't - it sold more than enough last week to do so, but wasn't in the official T200.

But it could be registered now. It seemed like the Greg Street version of Turn My Swag On was registered over the weekend, because it didn't appear in any midweek updates. Basically from now on, if there's a fake version, I'm prepping it :lol:

Just from the name of the 'artist' I'd say it's 99.99% certain it will not chart.
