43. The Saturdays Missing you (official charts) 41 on Itunes, I seriously hope it sneaks into top 40, I Can see higher going up to 23rd in official charts. I like the saturday songs so much better compared to wordshaker. Hope higher gets number 1 but i think it will come top 8.

*prays* he'll beat the "you're getting boring, oh so boring + i don't recognize the zombie you've turned into" ones.Even though the official Shame (THE irony of the title vid, for feeding endless critical puns) was i think only released a week before Kylies GOMW, + STILL its not exactly racing ahead of hers in views though given its indescribable boredom + high brow innovative humour ( the brokeback mountain "satire" never before attempted in the history of comedy) thats not much of a compliment to Kylie's effort.

 

Given the 'timeliness' of the LTWYL vid i'd expect the new vid will be out just before Xmas ;) and will equally BORING :(

PS.Is it my atrocious short term memory or has Kylie's (some flash in the pan/ 1 hit wonder countless smugly assured themselves back then contradicting my observances (her mind among other talents, essential for long term success) pop tart from the 80's) ATL risen up the (iTune's)chart significantly ( perhaps 10 or even 20 places) recently? + If so what reasons (if any) would explain it? Cheers.

 

You need to use more ',' and '.' and less '+', '(' and ')'. :lol:

 

And in response to another post, the reason Love the Way You Lie's video was released so late was because it started charting as an album track. It got to #2 on UK iTunes and #1 on US iTunes before they'd decided it was even the next single. It would've been a couple of weeks after the song was popular before they even thought about a video, I'd suspect.

I honestly don't know why they couldn't just release new Take That material. This track reaks of desperation and a need for money. Will be the worst #1 in a LONG time if it makes it. -_-

I agree, Upside Down is an amazing song. I don't think it even made the top 40, but I hope it somehow sneaks in one day.

 

And that edit of Love the Way You Lie has been around for ages. At first, they had to play the full song, because it hadn't been announced as a single by the time the airplay started (and they had to start playing it, because the demand was very high), so they had no radio edit, video, etc. prepared.

 

That edit is annoying though, as Eminem basically raps one and a half verses, whilst Rihanna gets to sing 5 choruses (the 4 normal ones, and then they play the first one again immediately after her last one, which sounds strange, because at the very end it has that weird noise, which doesn't sound like the end of the song, plus, if you turn the radio on then, you don't know whether it's just started or if it's about to finish). The other annoying thing is they basically cut Eminem off mid-sentence, and it sounds weird, because he's going so fast at that point that it sounds like he's been struck by lightning when he suddenly stops, and also he's saying the last few words of his phrase when Rihanna has already started singing.

 

I understand that people might not want to play the song for 4 minutes (although they always do on Radio 1), but that's a poor edit. I think just cutting out one of the rap verses altogether would've been better.

I meant :( about Mike :lol: Totally agree about that edit of Eminem, but I don't really listen to commercial radio, I was getting my hair cut and they had Capital on... Eminem really sounds like one of the muppets the way he says "just gonna"... maybe Kermit The Frog :lol:

I put :( for Mike because it's way too high already.

 

Although it was hardly not gonna be a hit after how big it was in the USA. I just hope it doesn't go top 5.
