September 26, 201015 yr Didnt realise Pendulum were that close, they must have had strong physicals :o
September 26, 201015 yr Congratulations to Journey - Don't Stop Belivin' reaches it 100th chart week this week.
September 26, 201015 yr Author Is it readily available still, and fully stocked? I guess shops will have ordered more copies in after the demand the TV show will have bought. I bought this CD for my mum last xmas, lucky lady  Well I'm just following the trend since Phil Collins is on the back of a TV show, and apart from Mark Ronson's album there ain't jack $h!t that can muster a #1 album
September 26, 201015 yr I wouldnt spend a pence on that, thanks! I know some Phil Collins songs from the past and I dont like them! Id prefer The Manics or The Script at number 1. If you havent heard it then you dont know if its a bad album. Just because it may not be your genre of music, doesnt automatically mean its $h!t. Phil Collins is one of the best and most successful songwriter/musicians/singers of all time. Wipes the floor with anything from The Manics or The Scrip. Just becuas he may not ben the hottest coolest thing dont mean he is $h!t.
September 26, 201015 yr Congratulations to Journey - Don't Stop Belivin' reaches it 100th chart week this week. It actually passed 100 weeks in the top 200 4 weeks ago (maybe more). The OCC disregards the weeks from its original run. Anyway, pretty pissed off about Pendulum becoming yet another unfortunate #41... we've had so many this year :( Edited September 26, 201015 yr by ~ braysephone ~

Just becuas he may not ben the hottest coolest thing dont mean he is $h!t. He is a massive tax evader though. After saying he'd leave the country if Labour got in to power- Labour had an unprecedented landslide victory in 1997. You do the MATHS. :D
September 26, 201015 yr Lol at this Manics vs. Phil discussion Can't you just like both like I do I'm very pleased Phil got a no. 1 album although I would've preferred Manics
September 26, 201015 yr Wipes the floor with anything from The Manics The Holy Bible is a devastating album that is so good that it overshadows most other albums I've every heard. It's just a totally different sound and lyrics and is so full of hatred and disgust that it effects you like nothing else. No one can really compare anything Phil Collins has done with this album.
September 26, 201015 yr I liked some of Phil Collins back catalogue but only ever bought his greatest hits album, im pleasantly surprised he has made number 1 though, he has been written of really and if anything it shows it doesnt matter who or what you are once you traget your market well, a number 1 is still possible so well done to him for doing that. Disapointed with Kylie;s album and get outta my way position, also disapointed scissor sisters missed the top 75 considering they are #6 on the phyisical chart and also a little disapointed that the brilliant Seal just missed out on netting another top 10 album by just 1 place, id love it to sneak in next week. Im also a little but worried that kylie may miss the top 10 next week but until then i will live in hope that the mighty kylie will get there in the end. Edited September 26, 201015 yr by Aphrodite
September 26, 201015 yr Poor No.1 single, yawn. I don't understand why people love Bruno Mars, he's distinctly average.
September 26, 201015 yr  Another Day In Paradise ic a CLASSIC and better than anything ive heard from manics. That Collins $h!t is badly sung as usual with his thin reedy voice AND it's a COVERS album FFS. How fukkin creatively bereft is this man. These covers (and I have heard some of them) add nothing to the original. If it was done because it was done for his love of the music then why didn't he just keep them for himself. Anybody with any taste should should just dig out the original versions and listen to them instead.
September 26, 201015 yr MSP>>>Phil Collins. Sorry. Hope Mark Ronson can get #1 album over Simply Red, I couldn't bear such a miserable back-to-back of album #1s otherwise.
September 26, 201015 yr Braysephone, you have used the Chart Stats Site for the Weeks On Chart of 'Gold', by ABBA. 81 92 466 ABBA Gold - Greatest Hits Chart Stats has it on 465 Top 100 Weeks - and today's Chart makes it 466. It is wrong. Chart Stats misses out 144 of 'Gold's Top 100 Weeks - or over 2.5 Years, to put it another way. (Including 14 of its Top 75 Weeks). The ABBA Album entered - at No.1 - 18 Years ago this Week, (W/E 3rd October 1992). It has spent 610 Weeks in the Top 100 - 433 of them in the Top 75. Edited September 26, 201015 yr by zeus555
September 26, 201015 yr 78 15 2 Kerry Ellis Anthems Ouch at the 63 place drop for Kerry! :kink: And sad to see the Scissor Sisters single miss the Top 75 - It has not even managed to have even enough of an effect to return the album to the Top 75 either :nocheer: Edited September 26, 201015 yr by Pop B!tch
September 26, 201015 yr Im also a little but worried that kylie may miss the top 10 next week but until then i will live in hope that the mighty kylie will get there in the end. I'm even more worried she will miss the Top 20! Judging by its download sales so far then physicals will have a hard job pushing it Top 20!
September 26, 201015 yr I cant see kylie missing the top 20, as she will clear about 10,000 on phyisicals alone in release week so all she needs is about 6,000 downloads to see her into the top 20. Im confident she will make top 15 and i live in hope she will go top 10, im a huge kylie fan but not the biggest get outta my way fan but none the less id love to see it make the top 10 and extend her total of top 10 hits to 34.
