How did pink's new song already make a debut when it premiered less than 24 hrs?

Yay Two Door Cinema Club on getting playlisted. 6 months too late to make an impact though.

Radio 1 just seem to not be very helpful to anybody related to the X Factor at the moment (although they do quite like JLS).

 

I reckon if the X Factor was on BBC 1, the playlist would be a little bit different. :lol:

i hope alexandra's next single gets play listed.

Ergatoudis is very keen to establish that no artist is ever banned, per se. "Ban is a very emotive word" he says. "With some artists we make oursleves distinct by not playing them, and we'll just let commercial radio have them". He cites Alexandra Burke and Enrique Iglesias in this category; others just become 'less and less relevant for our audience" with 6 music and radio 2 picking up the slack

I think David Guetta was the main reason Commander did so well to be honest.

They don't playlist UK Eurovision entries too though, I'm not sure it's the case.

 

And I'm actually glad that Radio 1 don't support X-Factor songs. Not only because that most of them are quite poor quality, but also because they get massive support from everywhere else.

Good to see Roll Deep, Pink playlisted. Yet to hear Paloma's newie.

Damn them if they do that too with leona next year when she comes back i swear down i will.....

 

 

whats it matter alex sells without them gets high plays without them, it gives room for new artists that need the help

Diana and Nadine will really need X-factor performances, commercial radio is giving their songs a wide berth. Kelly dropped already and who are Dinosaur Pile-Up and Villagers.

I thought nadine would have been playlisted by now. Next week hopefully.

She dosnt need Radio 1 her last single got to number 1 but never got play listed! Radio 1 are so pathetic considering the her massive popularity in the UK.

 

And there are hundreds more radio stations around the country, real radio played her last single loads of times that i heard :) so she does have support from other stations :)

most other radio stations just follow whats in the charts - thats why.if it gets to no1 or is an established artist they will play it.radio 1 try to introduce artists that dont get commercial play!!
