I'm glad The Wanted are not a dead cert for number 1 this week. A #2 hit should be good for their ego, somehow.

on second thoughts, Bruno's lead is huge- I think The Wanted could end up at number 2 or even 3 behind Duck Sauce

Diana is actually doing pretty well considering I don't think its even had any airplay ? The only reason I know about the song is because of this site

I've heard Diana's song twice on the radio, once on BRMB, and the other time on The Hits. I also saw the music video once, although I can't remember what channel (it would've been Viva or 4Music).

 

So she's had like triple the promotion that Joe had, but that's still pretty dire. I mean, Galaxy playlisted 2012 like 3 months ago, so I've probably heard the song over 100 times now.

 

I've probably heard Heart Vacancy about 40 times on Galaxy, Best Behaviour and Cross My Heart I've only heard once each, both on Radio 1. I've yet to hear Taylor Swift's song, so it's doing well considering.

 

Also, there's Firework, and possibly Coming Home which will be climbing a lot this evening and on Monday respectively.

Yeah, Joe was C-Listed, but I never heard the song, although I don't listen to Radio 24/7, as commercial radio play better music imo.

 

I'm just talking about how often I heard each song. The chart show today will be the 2nd time I've ever heard Joe's song.

Diana has flopped regardless of the lack of promotion. Her X Factor performance will give her a decent boost but if Joe couldnt make the most of it last week then there is little hope for Diana.

Diana has basically had ZERO promotion at all. I have never heard it on radio or seen it on TV, infact if it wasnt for BJ then I probably still wouldnt know about the song! Joe is C Listed on Radio 1 so I have heard it on radio a few times & also was VIP music video on 4music for a week & he had Paul O'Grady and X Factor (although Diana will have that from this evening). Both have had poor promotion tbh but Joe has had far more than Diana.

Yeah, but just because you have heard it more doesn't mean it's had more exposure - because it hasn't, quite simply.

then you cant really judge promotion and how much a person has had just based on how many times you have heard it yourself lol

The Wanted are so desperate it's just awful. Now they're starting to beg their fans on FB to MULTI-buy the single.
