Judging by iTunes, the Nero remix would've been responsible for a great deal of the song's sales!

I'm not surprised. It's a great remix. Doesn't change the song much but makes it so much better.

There is nothing like a non-number one number ones, people!

There simply are number ones that have long or short longevity. Personally I prefer those that last shorter as they don't get so overplayed.

Swedish House Mafia still rule as probably the best track in the top 40, after so much time

I agree, although there's some I wish would get more airplay. I mean it's quite clear which is best out of Green Light and California Gurls, yet it's the poorer one that gets overplayed. I've not heard Green Light enough yet, and it's leaving the top 40 soon. :(

Album Discussion Here

Good question this week, unless the answer's Will Young or Robson & Jerome, i don't know.
For me, Miami 2 Ibiza is the much improved version of One. It's like Just Dance and Poker Face for them.

'Green Light' is as generic and run of the mill as they come, not that 'California Gurls' is anything great but still...

That was not an easy question. I have no clue as I never follow the label infos.

Mark Ronson's Bike Song is slightly disappointing for me sounding a bit cheap although I appreciate he insists on remaining original and quite outstanding.

I don't think they actually sound that similar. Certainly not to the extent that Just Dance and Poker Face sounded similar, although it is a good comparison.

I agree, it's a better song. But disagree about Gaga Just Dance is for me better song. :P

The Bike song makes me smile. ^_^

I don't think Green Light is that generic, I mean, few songs have such a good bassline!

A f***ing big drop for Ronson!

Expected :(

Well, if R&J were under the label, they predate Will by 7 years!

The answer to the chart trivia could be Robson & Jerome, not 100% sure unless its Will Young.

The answer is Westlife AFAIA

R&J have Simon Cowell links but Syco Records only started in 2002

Why laugh Reggie Bob the Builder was number one and Simon Cowell has a history of children's TV Power Rangers, Zig and Zag, etc. Stupid idiot. ;)
