She needs to do a video for romans revenge it don't need to be a single just a video to he'll promote the album

I never heard of any planes for a Roman's Revenge video. Unless if they were planning one for the Lil Wayne version.

 

I honestly can't imagine what one would look like either, so I'd be interested, out of curiosity, more than anything. :lol:

Why did they re-record it with Lil wayne? He ruined it like every song he features on.

I vaguely remember hearing something about it around the time they released the Lil Wayne remix, not sure which version it would be, though.

 

They re-recorded it for the sole purpose of having a Wayne/Minaj song after he was released from jail. I had been wondering when a collab was coming anyway, him being YMCMB's head honcho and all.

I thought the purpose of the Lil Wayne remix was because some people didn't like Eminem's verses.

 

They should do like an almost-posse cut, and merge the two versions together, and do a video for that.

^ I doubt they'd do a new version just because there were some complaints about some of the lyrics in Eminem's verses though! I'm sure it was because Lil' Wayne wasn't already on the album (due to being in prison) and it wouldn't be right for Nicki's debut to not feature him!

 

The version with Lil' Wayne is far superior to the Eminem one.

I do prefer Lil' Wayne in general anyway though.

The reason for "Roman's Revenge 2.0" is two reasons

 

1) Lil' Wayne was in jail during the recording of "Pink Friday" and Nicki REALLY wanted a collaboration of her own between them.

 

2) The reason she picked "Roman's" is because she was aware of her homo fans dislike to the Eminem verse, she herself said she isn't keen on it.

Both of those makes sense

 

But i am sure prior adding the song to the album, she would of heard that "Homo" lyric and thought "um no".

I can understand why Nicki might not have found it bad at the time, because in the song both of them are rapping as alter egos (i.e. fictional characters), and they're generally trying to be as offensive as possible. I think if anything, the song is a lot more sexist than it is homophobic.

Well the re-release is apparently titled "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded".

So it'll include the Lil Wayne version? As well as the fact as RR getting a release?!!?! OH MY. I want 'Fly' first but END the era with RR and I will be VERY happy :wub:

I don't think Roman's Revenge is getting released as a single though. Although I guess I'll never know how it got trending on Twitter. I tried to see why people were talking about it, but all I saw was hundreds of people saying "Why is Roman's Revenge trending?" :lol:

This has reached a new UK peak of #16 today. Hope it can go top 10, that would be much better than the previous miserable peak of #31.

It seems 'Fly' is DEFINITELY due to be the next single. Capital have started to play it. :D

The music video for Fly will apparently premiere at Monday at the VMAs pre-show!
