woooot? The Wanted are getting a big hit with such a bland song?

 

Being a bland song never stops a song doing well, although worse songs do just as well if not better frequently.

Pleasantly surprised that The Wanted aren't heading for #1 :o it's a nice enough song but I'm glad they won't be another 'straight to #1 with any new material they release' sort of act like JLS/Dizzee and McFly and Westlife used to be. Just The Way You Are is a far stronger song, and yes it's been at the top before, but I really feel like this will be one of those songs that hangs around for the next few decades (not in the charts obviously - in the public consciousness). It has a timelessness to it that I feel from a song every now and then. I remember the first time I heard Daniel Bedingfield's If You're Not The One I thought 'this is a future classic', and it has been so fingers crossed for Bruno!

 

Maybe in 15 years, people will actually have just cause to sing his songs on 'musical heroes/idols' week on talent shows :lol:

Glad to see Nelly in the top 40 :D He's over here doing promo this week, so hopefully he continues to climb

 

In fact a few artists are here this week.. Bruno Mars, Jay Sean, Travie McCoy etc..

Although, most are here for the MOBOs on Wednesday

Looking at the charts ATM, ISTM that to support 'minority' music, there should be some MOWO awards... :P

That Bruno song is so bland and his album is expected to flop with sales of 45K in the States. I don't get the hype with that dude at all.

Expect Diana to rise a bit now she's on This Morning and is currently trending on Youtube on the homepage.

 

Also, Due to her supposed stealing of the chorus from Under the Bridge she is getting a bit of media coverage now.

 

Off topic but I can only see similarities in with the chorus the lyrics are different and the set up of notes is different, it's just similar sounding? Surely they haven't got a legal battle at all???

Diana on this morning, may see a small rise for her, again very difficult to understand what shes actually saying. :unsure:

Vickers is seriously close to the top 10 now.

I'm surprised that N-Dubz aren't top-10 yet. And they actually were there for a bit, but then Katy Perry and Jay Sean overtook them.

 

I'd rather have Vickers in the top-10 though, N-Dubz released a really weak song this time.

His album has not "flopped". Didn't it enter at number 3 in their charts? But everyone knows sales are p*** poor in America at the moment, so it's not like he's the only one who hasn't sold a lot. I really think he's missed a trick by not releasing his album here in the UK straight after the release of 'Just The Way You Are'. But then again it could be why JTWYA is still holding up so well... Hopefully he releases 'Grenade' or 'Talking To The Moon' to lead the album off.

I think it was yesterday, it was supposed to be released in November?

I'm gutted at how low Taylor is. :( I wanted her to go Top 15/20 and least... :cry:
