Posted October 17, 201014 yr Just a little thread. Currently, DJ Fresh's 'Gold Dust' spent 11 weeks in the Top 40 without reaching the Top 20. Also remembered Fall Out Boy's cover of MJ's 'Beat It' spending 11 weeks as well. Took a quick research on The Script's 'Breakeven' chart run. It actually spent 15 weeks and it only peaked at #21. Is this the record? :unsure:

Its first appearance was in 1976 (#31 4 wks). It then recharted in 1979 (#43 8 wks), 1982 (#21 9 wks) then as a digital track in 2007 and 2008 where its charted for 1 week in 2007 (#61) and for 13 consecutive weeks in 2008, peaking at #44. Its appearances in 1979 and 1982 were listed as the Freebird EP which was the same EP that charted in 1976 as Sweet Home Alabama / Double Trouble. Freebird was the third track on the EP.
