October 27, 201015 yr I'd have said 93k was loads already. :) It definitely is, but I was thinking maybe 130k -140k total this week, and I think she's definitely going to surpass that! I'm very happy for her. ^_^
October 27, 201015 yr Cheryl fans may be pleased to know that Fight For This Love is on course to re-enter the Top 75 at 50+6, while Parachute is just two positions short of Top 75.
October 27, 201015 yr It definitely is, but I was thinking maybe 130k -140k total this week, and I think she's definitely going to surpass that! I'm very happy for her. ^_^ She sold 24.5k yesterday, so with 4 days leff, and if she can maintain good sales, she should definitely pass the 150k mark, and probably more like 160k.
October 27, 201015 yr If those sales are right the gap hasn't changed at all, with both women adding sales by +35% give or take 1% over Tuesday to Wednesday period
October 27, 201015 yr If those sales are right the gap hasn't changed at all, with both women adding sales by +35% give or take 1% over Tuesday to Wednesday period Actually the sales gap has gotten bigger. On Tuesday the gap was roughly 20k, on Wednesday it was 24.6k.
October 27, 201015 yr Wow at both Cheryl and RiRi! :o Wonder if both can get over 100k ... when was the last time that happened?!
October 27, 201015 yr Actually the sales gap has gotten bigger. On Tuesday the gap was roughly 20k, on Wednesday it was 24.6k. yes but if Ri was increasing sales by a larger % of sales over Cheryl then she might be able to overtake if that makes sense?
October 27, 201015 yr yes but if Ri was increasing sales by a larger % of sales over Cheryl then she might be able to overtake if that makes sense? I'm confused  Anyway WAHYOOO For Cheryl and Joe!
October 27, 201015 yr Author Wow Cheryl's lead has improved from 17k to nearly 25k ! :o Missing datas with 92.8k sold ? That would be surprising ... Its only because as I was doing the update it looked a bit iffy, I did not see the sales above my mid post. :P
October 27, 201015 yr I'm confused  Anyway WAHYOOO For Cheryl and Joe! If they both increase sales by the same percentage the gap will increase in absolute terms because the overall figures are higher. For example, let's say Cheryl sold 60,000 by Monday and Rihanna 30,000. Then say that they both increased their sales by 40%. So, Cheryl moves on to 84,000 and Rihanna to 42,000. That means Cheryl's lead is still 2 to 1 but, because they have now both sold more, the gap has grown from 30,000 to 42,000.

Yes I get that but Kangarooz is saying there's a chance that Rihanna could catch up and overtake - but I can't see evidence of that as Cheryl's lead had grown (by a considerable amount too)
October 27, 201015 yr Rihanna sold 50k by Sunday and Monday(average 25k per day), and yesterday she sold 17k it's 32% down, if today she will sell/sold again 32% less then day before, it will be 11,5k, if Cheryl sold the same, it would mean a decrease of 54%.It is very unlikely, so it is almost certain that after 4 days of sales Cheryl will have at least 25,000 advantage. This means that over the next three days Rihanna would have to sell 9,000 more(per day) than Cheryl. If Rihanna will sell at 10,000 per day, Cheryl couldn't sell any single. So, there is no chance for Rihanna to be number 1 this week. Edited October 27, 201015 yr by Tommy
October 27, 201015 yr How much did she sell FFTL first week? 292,845 copies. Edited October 27, 201015 yr by MrLovett
