November 3, 201015 yr OMG! WILLOW SMITH! :w00t: Nicole Scherzinger! :w00t: Olly Murs! :w00t: VERY HAPPY! Pleased for Brandon, although I'm not a fan of 'Only The Young'... Also big  for Jason up to B!
November 3, 201015 yr Olly C-listed! :o guess they've realised he's more popular than they thought :P I care not for the others -_-
November 3, 201015 yr some good additions to the alist, apart from paramore!! big jump for far east movement, already added to itunes!! good additions too - mark ronson and pyro.pity they got rid of 2 door cinema club!! are you all listening to the web chat?
November 3, 201015 yr Author Far East Movement jump Upront to B-list, they're obviously expecting big things. Still no Alesha, Robyn, Shakira or Freemasons :(
November 3, 201015 yr ^^yeah its on itunes already and the video is on mtv. iasked the playlist guy a question there on the web chat on radio1 - i asked why they dlisted the xx-islands last year and then alisted it this year for 12 weeks!!
November 3, 201015 yr Generally pleased with the climbers there - didn't expect Far*East Movement to go straight from D to B, I thought it'd have a transition week at C first, then B then A, now I think it'll just have 2 weeks on B then go up to A. As for the new additions on the C-List, Poison and Whip My Hair are both just terrible, I hate the Plain White T's song even though I haven't heard it (and damn that stupid out of place apostrophe -_-) and Somebody To Love Me is fairly average. Pyro though  The other three I haven't yet heard but Danny Byrd's first three singles were excellent so I'm sure this one is good as well. I'm sure I'll like Only The Young when I hear it. Not a big fan of Blood Red Shoes but I don't think I'll ever hear it anyway, they always playlist BRS but never seem to actually play their songs :P
November 3, 201015 yr Seeing as they declined playlisting the biggest European hit of the year, do you think they'll put Loca on? :o I guess it has more chance with Dizzee on the song but I'm still not sure whether they'll bother with it... Shame Robyn's not on, I guess after the mega flop of Hang With Me :( Plain White T's? Were they not a 2007 one hit wonder? Mark Ronson and Nicole are my favourite additions this week.
November 3, 201015 yr Olly C-listed! :o guess they've realised he's more popular than they thought :P I care not for the others -_- To be fair they *did* playlist PDLMG, but only after its release.
November 3, 201015 yr Poison and Whip My Hair are both just terrible Oh dear! I knew you didn't like WMH, but Poison as well? Sometimes I really worry for your taste in music, as both songs are fantastic :kink: "Rhythm Of Love" isn't too bad either. But very surprised that they've play-listed it :o
November 3, 201015 yr Wow, I guess the Enrique hit and X-Factor judging guest slot really has paid dividends and revitalised Nicole's career, aside from this being her first good song... I see nothing standing in the way of this being a huge smash now. :D
November 3, 201015 yr They didn't even mention shakira when they were doing the tweeting from the meeting today.. fingers massively crossed for next week :(
November 3, 201015 yr To be fair they *did* playlist PDLMG, but only after its release. after they realised how popular it was though! to playlist his second single on C-list three weeks before release is prety good
November 3, 201015 yr They didn't even mention shakira when they were doing the tweeting from the meeting today.. fingers massively crossed for next week :( Is Dizzee not on the Shakira track I am sure she will get playlisted.R1 playlisting Olly, jumping on yet another band wagon that they missed first time around like The Wanted, Eliza Doolittle, Nicky Minaj  .I am sure Paolo Nutini will be added next week.
November 3, 201015 yr This X Factor hating thing with Radio 1 hasn't irritated me until now (Shane not being played)!!
November 3, 201015 yr They didn't even mention shakira when they were doing the tweeting from the meeting today.. fingers massively crossed for next week :( Do you have a link to this Twitter? I've seen people mentioning it but can't find it...
November 3, 201015 yr Do you have a link to this Twitter? I've seen people mentioning it but can't find it... Is this what you mean. http://twitter.com/BBCR1
November 3, 201015 yr Go Willow and Nicole!! Was dubious about either being playlisted, so pleased to see they are. Both will be HUGE I think! :D Especially Willow.
