It's Mel B's 50th birthday today! Happiest of birthdays to her 🥰

I get the feeling you think Mel looks decent in her insta post Schizo?

She does I just hope that look and her being 'back' isn't wasted on some crappy tv show or TV advert or something low rent.

No she’s just signed a multi million record contract.

Scary is back for Halloween 👻

We can dream

I wonder what happened with that Australian record contract she signed while on AUS X-Factor??? She never released anything.

She might have filmed or recorded something for the channel 4 documentary next year to celebrate Wannabes anniversary.

She looks like she is at home so having a crew round filming her talking head part might have happened.

Speaking of the channel 4 documentary, channel 4 had the Brits 97 performance pulled from YouTube recently that a fan had uploaded in 4k. The Brits has always been an ITV show so channel 4 must have the rights for it now I'm assuming for the documentary.

Mel's looking stunning  Glad she's seemingly made a return to social media!
She is looking incredible indeed! Wonder what it's for or if she was just dressing up at home.
She looks so good

I'm watching it, a bit naff but nice to see Mel B on TV again.

Her commentary was a load of nonsense though she claimed that they had a pattern when writing songs and Emma and Mel C would start their songs

Wannabe - Mel B

Who do you think you are - Geri

Naked - Geri

If u can't dance - Mel B

Spice up your life - All

Stop - Geri

Too Much - Mel B

Never give up on the good times - Geri

Saturday night divas - All

Move over - All

The lady is a vamp -Geri

Holler - Mel B

Tell me - Mel B?

Right back at ya - All

If u wanna have some fun - Mel B

Weekend love - Victoria?? (I'm not actually sure)

^ Emma starts Weekend Love and Victoria starts Tell Me Why. The theory doesn't sound especially true to me either, though. I'm not going through all their b-sides and unreleased stuff. But if I were to go solely on whose voice is heard solo first on each song of album tracks...I'd guess it'd go...

Emma - 8

Mel B - 7

Mel C - 9

Geri - 7

Victoria - 1

The above is pretty debatable. Mel C is technically heard first on a few songs like Say You'll Be There and Love thing (so I gave her the point)...but she doesn't have the first verse in those. I didn't give a point at all for Spice Up Your Life because the group carries it together for so long. Geri racked up several despite not even being on a third of the material. Victoria is only truly heard first in Tell Me Why. She has the first verse in Saturday Night Divas (a rarity for her), but I still clocked it for Geri just because of her solo "Saturday Night"s...but...I don't know...maybe Victoria should get that point. I think I had to be pretty bored to do this...lol.

I suppose by that counting Emma and Melanie C did start the most times tbf  Also if you add Emma and Mel's totals together that is 17 compared to the other three girls 15 between them

I think she meant they were the first ones to lay down the voices and provide ground work for the songs with their singing. Remember the Forever producers were really complimentary of their voices and how they worked songs around Emma's voice as well.

Maybe that's what she meant? They lay down the songs once they are written and then the others jump on top?

This is a TV show Mel B was probably told to waffle a bit and be a bit unsure build some tension. If she had said 'we toured last year Mel C starts 2 become 1 I can hear and see it in my head' it wouldn't have been very dramatic or suspenseful.

That'd make sense. It'd also explain that Mel C Can't Stay Tonight demo that leaked ages ago (...though for the life of me, I can't imagine the girls singing that chorus together and the song seems to mostly make sense as a Mel C solo..)
