Higher is brillaint !! Happy is scrapped the top 10

Plenty I'd imagine. Famously, Eurythmics almost did it (missing out #7 I think) with one single for each position!

The Eurythmics have had one - and only one - song peak at every position in the top ten except number seven.

 

Facebook campaign to get a song of theirs to #7? :lol:

 

Although that could have the potential to screw up their record permanently if it goes any higher than 7

Factoid time:

 

Flo Rida has appeared on a song called 'Low' and a song called 'Higher'... but Low peaked higher than Higher, while Higher peaked lower than Low. :lol:

Another two:

1. The Sats' singles from Headlines peaked at (x-1) places than the respective singles from Wordshaker; and it's quite probable that their second singles will sell more than their first singles!

2. Both latest second Sats singles have made the top-10 officially despite not making it in iTunes.

Just A Dream is out physically tomorow maybe that can help the song go top 5?? And i believe Cooler Than Me is also out physically tomorow.

 

physicals dont really count for much these days, so wont make much of a difference ;)

Bon Jovi have peaked at all numbers in the top 10 apart from the coveted number 1.

 

They're unlikely to get that now, shame really. "You Give Love A Bad Name" would have made a great #1, it missed the top 10 over here :(

I believe its exactly 10 years this week that Nelly made his chart debut with the single "Country Grammar"

 

Nelly was so skinny back then lol no big muscle at all.

Another two:

1. The Sats' singles from Headlines peaked at (x-1) places than the respective singles from Wordshaker; and it's quite probable that their second singles will sell more than their first singles!

3. The Saturdays' one-word title songs always seem to sell more / be generally bigger than their multiple-word counterparts despite peaking lower (with the exception of ITIL which peaked lowly)

 

Their highest peaking songs are JCGE, FIO (both #2) and MY (#3), but these are among their smallest hits, while Issues (#4), Up (#5), Ego (#9) and Higher (#10) seem to have outshined them. Maybe not sales-wise for a few of them, but definitely in terms of chart longevity and general 'bigness' if you get what I mean :lol:

Cant believe just a dream has only been out 3 weeks feels like its been out ages and peaked higher then #8, doing well though, may drop next week with few ne top 10 entries.

It takes 5 people to put this $h!t together each week????
