Theme for this week is Beatles Songs (as we all know)

Cher said: “I don’t know much about The Beatles,

She added on her song choice for the show: “I really don’t want to reveal anything about my song because I want to it to be a big shock to the audience.”

and

Wagner said he’s doing a mash up yet again

I actually think, Cher will do well at the Glee-style version of 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'.

One Direction will probably do a performance like this and Simon will praise them and talk about how versatile they are

would be good that to be honest she did say in her week 7 video diary on the x factor site it's 'something we aint seen before'

That is sarcasm.. right?

oh. Cher is doing one of my least favourite songs ever :( I really don't like that song. But having said that, she made 'Just Be Good To Me' and 'Shout'/'No Diggity' work, so who knows

Rebecca = typical "OMG. That was STUNNING! It gave me chills" etc... Performance. Katie's should be good, doubt it will be though :( 1Directions should work.

Is Cheryl taking the p*** with Katie's song choice?! Though I suppose she could've gone for something else sarky like 'Love Me Do' which would've been worse for Katie to sing.

Suppose it could be good, doubt it'll be her best though. If they had to go for early Beatles, she should've had Can't Buy Me Love or You've Got To Hide Your Love Away acoustic-y.

I figured Mary would do Something, in the Bassey style of course.

And I'm sorry but Imagine? It's not a Lennon week!!! If Cheryl wants Cher to have a big performance tearjerker/ballad, there are plenty of Beatles songs for that.

I'd have liked Rebecca to sing Eleanor Rigby

1D should have done I Wanna Hold Your Hand or She Loves You.

Incredibly crap and predictable choices. [Apart from Wagner LOL! He's going to make my night!]

The song choices are spoilered for a reason. -_-

Why are the genre weeks so $h!t this year... I know the beatles were huge and had some great song... but every year feels like the SAME genres =/

Anybody else fed up of Dermot too? I'd really like him to be replaced... Not gonna happen though, as Simon loves him >.<

my thoughts:

Katie- oh dear, this will be a disaster if their so desperate for her to stay- why dont they give her a good song choice and not blatantly set her up?!

Wagner- His Hey Jude should be brilliant

Paije- this could be very good, or very boring

Rebecca- ANOTHER ballad?! is Cheryl taking the p*** here, I am rapidly going off her

Matt- that should be good- something different at last

Mary- this could be interesting

One Direction- it could work or it could be quite cringe

Cher- er- Imagine, a Beatles song?! she could have a Stay moment here though- maybe this could be the week that she proves she can be more versatile than people think :o

Cher should sing something like Strawberry Fields Forever, something different..
Sorry!

How do you blank something out?

NAAAAAAAAAHHH! - Glee are crap :puke2:

I think Cher would be suited to Tomorrow Never Knows

Rebecca - Across The Universe - (Siobahn Magnus style)

Matt - And Your Bird Can Sing or Free As A Bird

Mary - Something - (Shirley Bassey style)

Wagner - I Am The Walrus / I'm A Loser (mashup) -- (it'll be another disaster anyway)

Wand Erection - With A Little Help From My Friends

Katie - Fixing A Hole or Revolution

Paije - Hey Jude - (Wilson Pickett style)

Hope it's wrong because Imagine is not a Beatles song - It is a John Lennon song. It wasn't recorded until 1975 - 5 years after The Beatles split.

There sure are some very safe songs there. - Nothing really challenging except maybe Come Together
