November 16, 201015 yr I just wonder where they'll go from here? Another album with Robbie? I really think they'd call it a day if he left again, I can't imagine them going back down to being a 4 piece. But they'd be calling it a day at the top of their game rather than quietly fading out at least. I think they will. Either way ... in this climate with generally decreasing album sales ... no way would Take That on their own or Robbie on his own could dream of these sales. I do think it was a genuinely brilliant marketing (and music by the sounds of the album) to get back together. Sometimes the best thing about breaking up is making up ... or so Neil Sedaka says! Kath
November 16, 201015 yr Oasis did 420k first day so I dunno why people are saying it has broken Oasis's record? :o How much in one week?
November 16, 201015 yr their second week will be above 200k regardless what they sell first week...also Thanksgiving is next week so it will help them a lot to sell above 200k. What has Thanksgiving got to do with the UK
November 16, 201015 yr The 697k was the official first weeks sales as they released it on a Thursday true but as a first full week it was 813k,
November 16, 201015 yr true but as a first full week it was 813k, First week sales are usually Monday to Saturday so the equivalent for Oasis would be Thursday to Tuesday.
November 16, 201015 yr Thanks, so Take That may top that, we'll have to see as the week goes on! Edited November 16, 201015 yr by Peace
November 16, 201015 yr Author Thanks to MW we only have what you see, and you would think they check the update before posting the charts up. I don't think we are going to get a proper update until tomorrow.
November 16, 201015 yr What a shame there is only the top 10. I am sure it's not but is Robbie's GH there by any chance Mikey? :P Delighted to see 'The Boss' as high as #3 on the album charts - it's not even a proper studio release - no lead single even - just outtakes from his 1978 masterpiece 'Darkness On The Edge Of Town' so it's success is fantastic. It's an amazing album
November 16, 201015 yr AMAZING sales for TT :o 235k was more-or-less the same figure Robbie's RKTVS sold in its first week :o Pleased to see a great start for Rihanna ^_^ she already outsold 'Rated R' first week sales  hope she sells over 100k :D Edited November 16, 201015 yr by WillR0713
November 16, 201015 yr TT were £7.99 in my local Sainsbury I'm not really a TT fan but love Robbie which is the main reason I bought this. I imagine quite a few big Robbie fans will buy this because of his input :yahoo: I was also conviced after i heard the album in HMV the other day and was really impressed. Great sales for Rihanna too. Those sales definately make up for Rated R (  )
November 16, 201015 yr Do we know where Cheryl is in the albums ? Hopefully still top10 ... We have next to no information on anything. The published mids are complete cack.
November 16, 201015 yr Hope shayne gets top 10 album at least, and mcfly. Edited November 16, 201015 yr by Peace
November 16, 201015 yr We have next to no information on anything. The published mids are complete cack. Okay, I was only asking cause M!key said "Thanks to MW we only have a top 10 today" so I assumed he had the whole top10. :)

November 16, 201015 yr cmon take that! only 6 thousand between the flood and jls - baring in mind most of the jls copies were probably preorders take that have a great chance! hope the flood does a rihanna! How do you know the gap is 6,000 ?
November 16, 201015 yr Author How do you know the gap is 6,000 ? Probably those sales that are given on page 1, but the album sales don't tally with the mid report, at the moment I'm taking those singles sales with a pinch of salt.
