JLS must be dropping a bit. Take That and Lady Goulding are closer now (actually TT combined and Ellie are same length :o )

I doubt it will change a lot to the total though. Even if TT overtake JLS this evening or tomorrow they wil need a big lead which is not really possible. As for Ellie she had a slow start she will need a huge lead to overtake JLS or TT, I guess she won't even overtake Rihanna.

I think it's more that Ellie is gaining on JLS rather than them falling.. as she seems to be the only one increasing

What's My Name? up to #14! :o

I hope it climbs really fast, so it's #11 when Westllife falls out of the top 10.

And if it's charting this high already, I hope they release the 3rd single (I'm guessing S&M, as it's being cherry-picked tons in every country) earlier, or else we'll get massive gap between the peak in popularity of the 2nd and 3rd singles, but a really small gap between the 1st and the 2nd (a lot like Nothin' On You, Airplanes and Magic).

Ellie closing gap on Jls :)
I've really underestimated Ellie Goulding this week. Having seen the track rocket up iTunes on Monday evening, I was expecting 'Your Song' to peak and start dropping down again to low top 10. As it is, Ellie is doing far better than I expected.
Ellie is quite close to overtaking JLS

OMG!!!! Seriously? I'd LOVE her to be number 1  YS is probs my fave of hers to date  Soooo beautiful :)

Agreed, I'm pleasantly surprised by how she's doing. I thought it'd perform similarly to the Fyfe Dangerfield track, though I don't think his cover had a big radio/video release like Ellie's. I'm sure the fact it's 59p is also beneficial to how she's performing.

I adore it, but I'm not sure how I feel about it looking set to outpeak "Starry Eyed". I'd rather her biggest hit was one of her own songs. But she's one of my favourite artists already so I'm welcoming anything that's giving her career a slight reboost. The follow ups to "Starry Eyed" didn't exactly hang around (despite being my two favourite songs of hers) so hopefully this will cement her as more than the "in thing for 2010" by becoming a big hit. I'm half hoping this re-release becomes her 'Florence' end of year moment.

If it doesn't, Wonderman certainly will. :D

I heard Fyfe Dangerfield's song loads on the radio, however that might've been in the weeks after it peaked. I can't remember exactly.

I'm sure 'She's Always A Woman' started to get more radio airplay after the song first entered the UK charts. Fyfe Dangerfield entered at #13 iirc but then got a boost on radio/TV hence the song climbing to #7 the followng week. The video to the song didn't premier until about three/four weeks later.

It actually entered at #99 [/nitpick] on the same 2 days of sales Ellie sold enough in to get #39.

It then climbed up to #14, and got to #7 the following week, It took its time to make the iTunes top 10

That's what I was initially hoping, but I think "Invincible" has been picked as the next single instead. :(

Yeah, I thought he'd had a bit more of a delayed/gradual release. Meanwhile Ellie's was playlisted on Wednesday, the song was on sale/video premiered on Friday with the advert being shown on Saturday. I thought it seemed like a rush release, but I don't think they could have done anything better. Now I'm hoping she has some sort of big TV appearance over Christmas to keep it selling.

Westlife  #11

How the mighty have fallen :o

I wonder what are the album sales for WF going to be. To be honest, I don't mind splitting them up.
