November 21, 201014 yr I thought that caller sounded like a complete twat personally. I thought she was AMAZING - everything she said was right.
November 21, 201014 yr Louie's always the one to get the rule book out. Both he & Cheryl broke the rules last night. Imagine isn't a Beatles song. It was a John Lennon song written & recorded by JL in 1975 - 5 years after the Beatles split. I don't know where Louie thinks Hippy Hippy Shake was a Beatles song. It wasn't written by any of them - they never recorded it. It was a #2 hit in 1964 for Swinging Blue Jeans but the original was written & recorded by Chan Romero in 1959 and just making the US Hot 100. Here's the original sKJ_X89iRfU IMO Paije & Wagner bottom 2 again They are both consistantly bad. Top 4 Rebecca - Cher - Mary - Matt Most have had at least one off week - 3 weeks ago Cher - 2 weeks ago Matt - last week - Mary - this week Rebecca (nerves got the better of her and it wasn't the best song for her, Across The Universe would have been great). Rebecca's still my fave though and has been every week. Edited November 21, 201014 yr by euro music
November 21, 201014 yr I thought she was AMAZING - everything she said was right. Absolutely. In the past when someone's been in the bottom two for a couple of weeks Simon has said that it's obvious they are not being supported by the public so need to go. So..... now he's moving the goalposts and saving her every week.. Apart from Danni the judges are all determined to keep Katie in. They have even gone back to single eliminations. When are they going to double eliminate to get the right number for the finals. At this rate I can see Wagner making the finals.
November 21, 201014 yr That caller was absolutely correct and Louis made a tit of himself. 'I know the real Katie' yes, Louis, but WE don't. I'm not gonna vote for her because YOU think she's a nice person.
November 21, 201014 yr I thought she was AMAZING - everything she said was right. She was spot-on and put her points over very calm and collectedly. She's also a bit of a heroine on DS and I suspect a lot of other forums ... she seemed to be represent the views of most of the show's viewers. Louis was like a child throwing his toys out of the pram in response. Fair do's to Cheryl though for just accepting that the caller had an opinion without being rude. So by Louis' comments about 'niceness' ... is he saying TreyC and Aiden were not nice people ... and that is what he based his vote on? Kath

I used to quite dislike Danni ... but every show this series my estimation of her has gone up. She's the only one who is consistent in her views ... and she doesn't 'mix up' niceness with a person's talent. And it would serve Simon right if Wagner did win. Perhaps then this WILL be the last X-Factor and we can get something different on our screens on a Saturday night. Maybe even a show like Top of the Pops. Kath Edited November 21, 201014 yr by Kathyp
November 21, 201014 yr For a long time, Dannii's been the "voice of reason" on the panel, and doesn't seem to get so involved in the politics and games as the other three (probably because she is the outsider). But these past few weeks, she seems to really be going all out. Before I sometimes got the feeling she was trying to bite her tongue for fear of upsetting her paymaster, but that no longer seems to be the case, and she seems quite happy to go against the grain and call Katie out on her "this is the real me" after the 11th reinvention, or rightly point out that half of One Direction are in fact pretty useless. My guess is that she's now fully aware that she's a dead man walking, and there's little to no chance of Cowell asking her back next year, so she now has little to lose.

Well no wonder Cowell wants to get shut of her ... there is absolutely NO room for reason and balanced decisions on the X-Factor. What do people think this is? A singing contest? Kath
November 21, 201014 yr The usual DS member who posts the vote spoilers (abigail88) hasn't posted them, but someone else has. I can't believe the other one tho, his seems bizzare. Strange tho, how on the hardest week to predict she doesn't post the spoilers... Apparently someone on DS PM'd her to ask, but she said she's not allowed to post it. The usual conspiracies have cropped up that she guesses and this week is too hard
November 21, 201014 yr This weeks Youtube stats: Paije Richardson- 34,128 Matt Cardle- 32,885 Cher Lloyd- 31,316 One Direction- 31,094 Katie Waissel- 26,753 Rebecca Ferguson- 23,412 Mary Byrne- 17,786 Wagner- 16,586 the big 4 have all taken a very sharp decline- Cher and Rebecca the biggest, Mary and Wagner have decreased, Katie has increased but only just, Paije has had the biggest increase by far, although 34k still isnt that much Edited November 21, 201014 yr by chart wizard
November 21, 201014 yr It could be intelligent guessing. Some people who don't vote every week may decide to in the finals, thereby giving a 'shock' result. There could well be a silent majority out there waiting to pounce :P Edited November 21, 201014 yr by munchkin
November 21, 201014 yr Sadly, I'm anticipating a Katie/Paije sing-off with Paije going. Which is undeserved as both were the best performers last night. If it's a double elimination, I think Mary may be in danger aswell.
November 21, 201014 yr I'm going to have to go with a Paije/Katie bottom 2 aswell really, it's a shame because I think Paije was actually my favourite of the night and the longer Katie stays, the better peoples reactions to her get. In all honesty I think Cheryl may have saved Wagner with her remarks, though I think Mary is very much so still at risk. Dannii has always been my favourite of the panel but this year in particular she's been on fire. It's a shame the reason for this is indeed likely due to her impending departure from the show but still. God, I bet they replace her with someone ridicolously stupid like Pixie bloody Lott.
November 21, 201014 yr Remember Katie performed last this week though- that surely is enough to get her through? only twice has an act that performed last ended up going (Danyl, S6 and Ashley, S3) I'd say she could survive this week- I could be wrong of course though :P Someone on DS posted that the bottom 3 are currently Paije, Mary and Rebecca- in no order take this with a pinch of salt, as they gave no source, although I wouldnt be surprised with this
