Not as bad as it could have been but an all time low by some margin. (Its previous low was #104)

50X2-6=

Back in the top 100 :party2: :kink:

Is that figure with Olly's second position taken out?

-x-

Anyway, sad to see My Beautiful Dark Twsited Fantasy flop but it was obviously going to happen anyway :(

What's the The Beatles Blue/Red thing in the low top 40 on the album chart? Is it a repackaged two-album box set of the 2 collections? :o

Thought Nicki would be a bit higher in the albums. I know she hasn't had that much promotion ('Your Love' didn't get very high at all, and '2012' isn't on the album, so all it really is, is a top 20 single in the form of 'Check It Out' & radio one play-listing for 'Right Thru Me'), but her BuzzJack fanbase seems quite big, and one of my friends really likes her.

Nicki Minaj is definitely a singles artist.

Well, a features artist really. Though Your Love stuck around for 2 months in the top 100 despite its low peak.

Poor Duffy, its not her best, but should be at least Top 20 imo.

Endlessly is FAR superior though!

it might flop in the UK where three boybands lead the album chart, but he'll almost certainly open big in the US which is probably where he cares more about the album sales. MCR will do better in the US as well although they should get top ten at the end of the week here

Really happy to see Take That holding number 1 and have very respectable sales again this week.

Im thrilled with both Kylie;s single and album positions, i hope better than today can hold top 50 for sunday.

Also thrilled with Bon Jovi holding quite steady, hopefully they can hang on in the top 10 for a 4th week.

I'm surprised at how well the new Bon Jovi GH is doing considering Cross Road still does well for a GH that's over 15 years old and the new one is basically Cross Road plus about 4? new tracks. I suppose Elvis, The Beatles, Abba, can have the same tracks out on GHs and still do well...though Bon Jovi are still very much in existence and have released about 5 new studio albums since their last GH, 4 tracks isn't a great representation of that!

I like how the media said it was going to be a battle between JLS and Westlife for the top (and Westlife already admitted JLS would win).

Looks like neither will at this point. How amusing.

They were to quick to guess Take That would be out of the picture because it was released last week.

Mcfly not doing bad in singles.Possible 3 weeks in the top 15 and the album fallen 7 isn't to bad either.

westlife's album is the best anw. . .

lol NOT EVEN!

Gravity is one of their worst. :P

there is a reason why westlife scraped into the top 10 with safe and might just get no.3 in the albums charts but watch how fast they will fall next week.

Don't Westlife tend to sell well throughout the Christmas period though? I'd imagine their overall sales figures at the end of the year will still be quite strong.

Looks as if it is not going to be as close as we thought at the top3 albums...

1 Take That 66.9k

2 JLS 58.9k

3 Westlife 38.4k

With JLS sales hugely frontloaded -as it is their first week- and preorders in selling 60K I think they will finally sell 160K this week. Still TT will appearently sell 250K to end up well ahead. As for westlife, I don't think they could do more than 110K after that... It wouldn't surprise me if they did not even manage 100K though it looks like a bad era for them.

It will be an interesting week for the top10 singles . (not no1 obviously)

yes...i have to say TT would have a strong sale this week. But to be honest I don't think their Progress is better that The Circus and Beautiful world (absolutely).

JLS's LYM is not bad i think, but i don't think they will have a massive overall sale about this album.

Westlife often cover others songs. But i think Gravity is a fantastic album with the producer John Shanks. All of the songs are at least OK. so i hope Gravity would have a good overall sale for this week and the next few mouth.

I agree progress by take that isnt as good as the circus but i would still say progress is a great album. Im hoping progress can sell around 250,000 or more again this week.

I think it's leagues better. The Circus paled in comparison to Beautiful World but Progress goes quite some way to getting them back on track in terms of high quality output!

Update in, no change in top 5 of singles or albums other than Rihanna now #5 in albums as expected.
