Posted December 1, 201014 yr I feel that most genres of music have some great stuff and so I want to partake in some dubstep to see if I can find some good stuff. What are the classics of the genre and what are the ones that the critics deem to be the most influential.

December 3, 201014 yr Not strictly speaking DUBSTEP, but James Blake will be the one who brings about the dub-revolution imo. oOT2-OTebx0 Also check out these: DRdMHbzjrlU EQgbvorvWLk I'm not a massive fan of the really heavy proper dubstep, but I do like a lot of the cross-over stuff.
December 8, 201014 yr Nero - Me And You. Wow amazing dubstep must get to number one in the new year if Armand van Helden misses it. bE47er6qnqg
December 9, 201014 yr Author you'd probably get more joy posting this in the Dance forum :) This is how much I know about Dubstep. Thanks
December 9, 201014 yr ^ That song's awesome!! It's funny seeing the video, because I was thinking this sounds a lot like a few tracks from some of my video games! That's not pure dubstep is it, though? However, I think for dubstep songs to be successful, they'll have to crossover into other genres a bit, just like all the other genres have to. To get to #1, a song will typically need to have broad appeal, so a song specifically of one genre will have difficultly making it there. Even some pop songs are having to use rap verses and stuff nowadays.

April 18, 201114 yr Author Archangel by Burial is perhaps one of the 'classics' of the genre (if you could call it that). IlEkvbRmfrA Wow. Just listening to this now. Also Etched Headplate. Really unique sound and quite hypnotic. It's got a great modern melancholic sound to it. Great production.
April 18, 201114 yr No such thing! I don't ever consider it music it's a craze for kids who will probably never know good music..
April 18, 201114 yr No such thing! I don't ever consider it music it's a craze for kids who will probably never know good music.. how can you be so dismissive? just because you don't like it it doesn't mean the people who listen to it don't know good music Edited April 18, 201114 yr by JakeWild

September 1, 20168 yr Bringing this back. Having been to SW4 this weekend and spent the majority of my time in the RAM Tent, it was fantastic to hear some bass classics (and see Flux Pavilion in another tent!). A few classiques *.* gYGioWinQQE V-eZPfHzfqg Cw0nkxFhpoM Xk_nISAyA94 zOl4g-j5_KM
