I'm at work so I can't listen to it yet :(

I haven't seen any strong reactions to it yet though :/

How dissapointing, it just sounds so dated :/. I can imagine it growing on me but it really isn't anything special.

Express Yourself trending on Twitter

I actually really like it on first listen, but then I really like Express Yourself too, and this is a (barely) updated version of that.

Its good, but certainly not amazing, not in the same league as most of her songs. Think it'll be a grower though..

I dont like it :( Just dont think its on par with all of her previous singles...

Maybe it was just hyped up WAY WAY WAY too much

So much for it being the best single of 2011  It's terrible! Sounds so horrificly dated are we actually taking a step back into the 80's?
It's good. It's also better than Hold It Against Me. But frankly, given it's been exposed to some of the biggest hype ever, short of her putting out Bad Romance again (and everyone ripping her to pieces for 'just doing a sequel to Bad Romance'), I think loads of people would've been disappointed anyway.

I far prefer Gaga to Britney in general, but I've got to disagree with it being better than Hold It Against Me...

I feel slightly sorry for her - how can anyone be expected to keep on improving on what is already perfection? This will still be a huge worldwide #1, just because she's that big, and radio will absolutely love it but it's certainly a huge step backwards musically and lyrically from pretty much everything on The Fame Monster. Whereas that was 80's influenced, this literally IS 80's. I do really like the song but it's a victim of its own hype.

:w00t:

I was in College before, so i downloaded it and listened to it in English. :P On first listen i actually HATED it. But i listened to it a couple more times and now i f***ING LOVEEE IT! Its NO WAY near as good as any of her other singles, but i still think its great. :D

I was singing it allll the way home from College. Its soooo catchy. :P

HMMM. I have to say I was expecting a lot and I was worried she wouldn't be able to pull it out of the bag. I am QUITE happy with it however. It's not epic like most of her other singles but it's still a very good catchy pop song, even if it's almost identical to Express Yourself (like, srsly) and is a bit throwaway in comparison to the likes of Just Dance/Paparazzi/Pokerface/Bad Romance/Telephone.

It's a grower for sure ^_^

I'm already getting slightly bored of it...

I think this is going to be the first GaGa song that i'll have a turbulent 'up and down' relationship with... :(

Wow this really is Express Yourself.

I'm rather enjoying it regardless. The post-chorus is glorious. And it is rather catchy/funky.

As a feel good anthem i'll stick to Ugly thanks.

My frigging MUM heard this before me :drama:

Well, I sure don't love it like I loved On The Floor when I heard it but it is still pretty damn good.

Someone got an mp3? :kink:

Not a fan of this at all. I'm sure it'll still be huge regardless...and I'm expecting the second single to be better!

On first listen.. It's okay, but I think I was always going to be dissapointed with how hyped up the track was

& tbh I was never really keen on Bad Romance either.. Paparazzi is probably my fav from her
