I really like 'Gold Forever' and is certainly one of the best charity singles I've ever heard! :D

Born this way jumps 4 places to #4 in the UK this week.

BTW: 3-3-8-4

BR: 14-10-11-8

Edited by Gaga for Glee!

This is getting physically released in the UK on March 14th. The tracklisting is:

1. Born This Way (Radio Edit)

2. Born This Way (LA Riots Remix)

3. Born This Way (Chew Fu Born To Fix Remix)

4. Born This Way (DJ White Shadow Remix)

Cool, but any idea if there is a picture disc being released? I have all the first album picture disc singles...

what's up against her that week?

It's not like the physical release will boost her to #1. She'll be no higher than #5 imo (behind The Wanted, Adele, Jessie & Wiz/someone else)

Why do you seem to be trying to compare it to Bad Romance?

the chart runs, to say it still might have a shot of #2 or #1 :???:

I hope so, as I've collected them all too - but at the moment there's nothing for it on the HMV website or GaGa's official UK store.

Why not? Ok she may not beat charity single but if a physical disc come out same week with remixes then definitely a number 2 (15k physical plus the remixes--->around 70-80k?)

This is going to be a very front loaded single compared to Bad Romance, which built as time went on. They have completely different contexts so you can't really compare them. If she had released on the Sunday as planned there would have been no question of her getting #1, but alas she did not, and her biggest two days weren't counted towards her first full week. I expect Born This Way to slip starting sometime soon as the video effect wears off, the only thing a physical would do would be to mainitain a position in the Top 10. I'm content with it's success, hopefully by the time this era is done BTW would have sold consistently in the long run, it's still early days yet. I expect Judas will do better, peak wise, as it will be released when her promotion for the album will be at its hightest.

You can't compare them, 'Bad Romance' got to #1 the week after The X Factor performance, and GaGa is even bigger now than she was before the BR release, 'Born This Way' had so much hype leading up to the release and everything. BTW has had it's chance, #3 shall remain it's UK peak.

15k for the physical? I don't think 'All The Lovers' even sold that much physically, and Kylie is one of the biggest physical sellers still around. GaGa won't sell nearly that amount. I doubt remixes sell that many copies either.

How poor are physical sales? Not even 15k for Kylie?

I think 'All The Lovers' sold about 12k physically, when the physical was first released. Physical sales are almost nothing apart from charity singles and certain artists like Kylie and a few others.

But she hasn't got the big X factor performance or promotional slot equivalent to that at this stage... I don't think BTW will reach number 1. 'Judas' will be her first #1 here in the UK I think. It sounds like it could be a better song too...

acapella/studio version http://soundcloud.com/gagalooinsider/born-...acapella-studio

she sounds really good in it. though i'm so over this song now i just want the studio version of government hooker

I want a proper acoustic version to hurry and leak. I think I'd prefer it to the studio version...

I think #3 will (unfortunately) be its UK peak.

I think her record company or whoever are desperate for it to get to #1 though, i keep getting e-mails telling to me to download it...

Nothing wrong with a #3 peak though.

I think the next single will do better, she'll be wanting to promote it heavily since the album is out soon after.

Yeah Kylie got 12K for ATL

Is Britains Got Talent around when Judas is released?

Yes. The live shows are on late May, which is around the album release, so she could possibly get a performance there.

Good i really hope so! i want Judas and Born this way (album) sales to be huge
