December 9, 201014 yr Cowell confirms different winner's singles Thursday, December 9 2010, 17:34 GMT By Catriona Wightman, TV ReporterTweet this Digg this Send to friend More options Simon CowellTVX FactorSimon Cowell has confirmed reports that all of the X Factor finalists have a different winner's single. In previous years, the acts have recorded different versions of the same song. However, Cowell confirmed at today's press conference that each finalist has been given a song which is "geared" to them. Cowell also revealed that he believes the race for Christmas number one has become more "exciting" since Rage Against The Machine took the top spot last year. wHAT THEYshould have done here is release all four singles and then let the top 4 be decided on the basis of the sales of the singles.
December 9, 201014 yr I think Rebecca and Christina could well steal the show if they sing Beautiful or Hurt, One Direction have no chance now- Robbie's a great artist, but he's been on the show before, plus the other acts would appeal to young regular voters- Matt and Rihanna could be interesting, Cher and Will.i.am could be good too I think what ever order they finish in, they will all get somewhere in music :) Edited December 9, 201014 yr by chart wizard
December 9, 201014 yr Just read the EPG on my digibox and it says for Saturday: "Rihanna and Christina Aguilera perform live" and for Sunday: "Take That perform live" I know Rihanna will perform What's My Name? and Xtina will sing something from Burlesque (probably Express, as it's the US single to the help the album/movie), but what will TT sing? They haven't announced a new single as far as I know!
December 9, 201014 yr Take That are on the gillionth time...surprise, surprise. They were always going to struggle to top Sir Paul though. LOL at everyone thinking One Direction have no chance with their duetee. Yeah...as opposed to some washed-up popstar who flopped so hard with their latest album yeah...
December 9, 201014 yr I really hope Rebecca and X-Tina are AMAZING!! Rebecca has gone up to 2nd in the betting and 1D dwon to 3rd. I've always had a sneaky feeling someone would do an Alexandra Burke (JLS were fave to win the week of the final, then Alex and Beyonce were incredible and she won!) I would love for Rebecca or Matt to win. Imagine if 1D won? It would be a disgrace that Matt, Rebecca, (maybe) Cher, Katie, Aiden, Paije, TreyC, Mary amd John were all better singers and 1D won. And i REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hate Zayn! He sings all these ''ohhh's and ''aaaahh's and he sings them as if he thinks he is AMAZING(whcih he isin't) Soooooooooo, Basically, i want Rebecca to win! 0x
December 9, 201014 yr really looking forward to the final this year Edited December 9, 201014 yr by Rossco
December 9, 201014 yr FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST. SPOILER TAGS, USE THEM Anyone not using them will have their warning level increased by 10% as i have said on at least 3 previous occasions.
December 9, 201014 yr I'd assume Cher will do 'Check It Out', seems the most obvious choice although something by the BEPs isn't out of the question either. Rebecca is probably most likely to do 'Hurt' I'd imagine ... suppose 'Beautiful', 'The Voice Within' or even 'You Lost Me' would be decent choices too ... don't have a clue about Matt. Really gutted at who he's got, but heyho, she'll outshine him anyway.
December 9, 201014 yr I am going to predict which songs they will do: Matt & Rihanna - Russian Roulette Rebecca & Christina - Hurt Cher & Will.i.am - Check It Out One Direction & Robbie Williams - Shame
December 9, 201014 yr Well, they say that now but it's subject to change depending who is bottom on Saturday no doubt.Nope. They have the final 4 they wanted, pretty much from the start now. All 4 will bring in viewers for their own reasons now. I still think they did a smart thing by making Cher get to the final (even if it was unfair - although it was never confirmed that there wouldn't be a bottom 2, so it's not illegal or anything for them to do so) - she'll bring in the most viewers now I reckon. Whether people love her or hate her, they usually can't wait to see what performance she does. Yeah, it's not like Robbie got Olly Murs 2nd place lol. I hate Buzzjack. How do you know? Michael Buble is just as big as Robbie, if not bigger last era. People just assumed that it was because of Robbie, because they don't like Michael Buble's sort of music, personally. Really looking forward to Saturday night. Not so much Sunday, but the performers on Saturday look better than Sunday's main headliners
December 9, 201014 yr One Direction & Robbie Williams - Shame That would be the most cringeworthy television ever.

On Saturday, Dermot's exact words were "The vote is now open, and will close in tomorrow night's result show. Now it's all in your hands. It's your votes and your votes alone that can get your act safely through to the final."
December 9, 201014 yr Cant wait for Matt and Rihanna's performance. :D Edited December 9, 201014 yr by X gunners X
December 9, 201014 yr Seriously, can you guys use spoilers. I know what the duets are but even I'm getting annoyed that people keep posting without spoilers. -_-
December 9, 201014 yr I think: Matt & Rihanna - Russian Roulette Rebecca & Christina - Hurt or Beautiful Cher & Will.I.AM - Check It Out One Direction & Robbie - Rock DJ, Let Me Entertain You or a horde of other songs I really think the duets could change it all tbh. One Direction could even come 4th thanks to their horrible duet choice!!!! Rebecca has a really good chance of winning I think!!!
