That's what i thought, but i think Simon loves her, her tour finishes on saturday so she might perform on sunday, She was a guest judge, she performed on Britians got talent, her album is away to go 700k this week or next week. Brilliant if you ask me.

I agree with basically all of this, and I think you're completely right. It's going to be difficult for Cher to fit in with the hip hop community (well, she might be okay in UK hip hop, people like Tinie Tempah and Tinchy Stryder have said they like her, I think).

 

To be honest, I can see Cher doing pop/RnB with rap verses, rather than hip hop songs, if you know what I mean. But I've been so delighted to see someone like her on the show. But she's SO hated at the same time. :( It's actually quite frightening, and there's people who will clearly go to desperate measures to stop her having any success, so it might be difficult for her.

They will probably have her doing a similar kind of music to somebody like Chipmunk, yes. Wouldn't be such a bad idea as she's never going to appeal to hip hop fans for obvious reasons. Plus the UK probably needs a rapper aimed squarely at the pop crowd now that Tinchy Stryder and Chipmunk seem to be heading on their way to flopsville.

Cher will perform Turn My Swag on next week, as there will proberlby " first audtion " etc.

I wonder if with Glee performing tonight we could get a reappearance of Dont Stop Believing cropping up the top 40.... I guess it will depend on what they perform though ;)

I REALLY hope Glee perform their Britney songs!

I hope they just do one song. Just like one of their good ones from the first series (Like a Prayer, Halo/Walking On Sunshine and Total Eclipse of the Heart were the best imo).

 

It would be funny if Don't Stop Believin' re-entered the top 40. It really annoyed the presenter of the chart show last time it re-entered. :lol:
