Whats everyone downloaded next week to stop X Factor winner getting to number 1?

Nobody really knows yet. There's a few different campaigns, but the one that gets in the top 10 on iTunes first and/or the one that gets the most media attention, will be end up being "the one" around Tuesday/Wednesday time.

Also, there's rumours there'll be 4 X Factor singles released, which will split the sales. But that said, there's lots of different anti-X Factor campaigns too, so that'll also split sales.

If this is all true, we could potentially get 5+ songs selling 100,000! :o

The campaigns are fairly quiet this year (pardon the pun ;) ), I don't think any of them are going to trouble the top end of the chart. The top 4 are going to consist of X Factor tracks, the sales are going to be fairly split, plus the white weather is coming back towards the end of the week.

Rihanna now #1! :o

and her album Loud up to #2, maybe #1 soon! #1 on both for the night/tomorrow would be brill :w00t:

What pun?

The Silence track 4'33" (quiet) :P

wow that was pretty fast especially considering bep's had quite a good lead from even ellie at 2 when rihanna was at 4. such a shame about the winners single :(
The fake (album) version of Not In Love by Crystal Castles is at #621 in the iTunes chart ahead of the release of the Robert Smith version at midnight tonight. Here's hoping that it charts well even amongst the busy Christmas market.
Rihanna would have been number 1 if it wasn't for the xfactor.

Um, she is #1, and it's because of the X Factor?

The campaigns are not going to work this year, how many does the 4'33 have? The largest I can find is 78,000 members and RATM had over a million last year - under half of them actually bought the song though so with 4'33 that would be about 34,000 and seeing as theres less buzz around it this year I expect even less people to buy it so about 25,000 which will be lucky to get top 20 on Xmas week. There might be a bigger one?

The Bird Is The Word one has 600,000+ members so I expect about 200,000 or less to buy it so it wont go anywhere near X Factor..
