As i said i'll definitely be leaving it at that. -_-

Your Song is doing so well, still #4!

Was hoping What's My Name would return to iTunes #1, hope it still has a big lead over #3.

The Flood, #7 (), benefiting from X Factor and Royal Variety.

Like A G6, still top 10, in a club this song is MASSIVE.

Many of Horror falling out of top 10? Could we see Firework back up to top 10 and then possibly rise?

Was hoping Invincible would make top 10 soon.

Only Girl still top 10 #7 & #21.

Didnt realise Cooler then Me and Just A Dream still hanging around  Big hits, really like both.

'Katy On A Mission' was DREADFUL, not 'On A Mission' as some members seem to be calling it which was a fabulous pop song by Gabriella Cilmi. :P

'Lights On' is a definite improvement but not great. 'Perfect Stranger' was infinitely better than both and shouldn't have flopped. Unjustified. :(

 I thought that 'Lights On' would be more BJ friendly, than KOAM, but I guess not.

I quite like this, whereas I despised KOAM, although listening to it now it's not as bad as I made it out to be in August.

I don't think this will get #1, as Matt or Rihanna will probably next week's #1 and Rihanna getting the #1 after that, but I'd love another surprise top 3 hit, similar to 'Happiness'.

If we're adding 'Perfect Stranger' into the mix, it's the worst of all her songs!

Thanks for the pop bars, makes me feel a lot better  hopefully #3 will stay at #3 and then drop rapidly. -_-
Glad Chezza is top 40 with TF

Lights On is pretty great, actually. Nothing ground-breaking but it's incredibly catchy and manages to do it without being annoying. Seal of approval from me(!!!)

Plus, Ms. Dynamite getting her first top 3 hit would be pretty great. Maybe this could be a launch pad to a successful comeback by her too? :D

Or you could answer the question?

On my mp3 player, a considerable number of my songs have no lyrics at all. Then there's those songs like Commander and Alejandro where I have the instrumental versions. Then there's those songs with barely any lyrics at all, like Barbra Streisand. Then there's songs in other languages, where I don't understand most of the lyrics, such as Alors on danse, We No Speak Americano. Then there's songs like Stereo Love where there are quite a few lyrics, and they're in English, but most people don't have a clue what they are, and could not care less, because they're listening to the song because it's got an incredible instrumental. Then there's those songs like Miami 2 Ibiza, Seek Bromance, etc. which only had lyrics thrown in, more as an afterthought, to get the songs played more on the radio.

Honestly, lyrics just aren't that big a deal for me, and the songs I like most are the ones where the beat is created first, and the vocals are added at the end.

Obviously, this is your opinion. But i'm wondering if for example you're sad, or you're just not in the mood for those songs you like, do you listen any other songs with lyrics (i suppose you never listen to ballads). I actually like few songs without lyrics. But it's a lot easier for you to identify a life situation through a song with lyrics rather just music. Lyrics are set to express emotions (so difficult nowadays) and that's why it needed a good music with them. For me, lyrics and music are equally to create a good song (most times :teresa: ).

Yay yay yay for the 'Lights On'! :o It's #3 only after 15 hours. I think it'll get to at least to #2 in the charts, it's Matt vs. Katy B, I don't think Rihanna will sell better than Katy B this week.
Matt i think will get a massive boost from being number 1 in official charts. (more publicty etc)

Pretty sure Cheryl will be getting her first flop single with 'The Flood'.

Shame really, seeing as it's also her first decent single.

The Flood is Cheryl's weakest single, and doesnt look like its going to do very well :o
Really pleased at how well 'Lights On' has done, hope it can overtake Rihanna! I can't imagine it'll sell as much as 'Katy on a Mission' overall, as it will peak high but not have the longevity.

Lights On is pretty good, actually! Although I'm surprised to see it doing this well already.

Very happy for Paloma Faith aswell.

Yeah actually The Flood is arguably as bad as 3 Words and Promise This.

Really hope Katy B does not overtake Rihanna that would be ridiculous. I'm sure it must be frontloaded.

christ poison is in free fall!!only top 30 now.will christmas lights by coldplay rise to the top 10 this week?? its nearly at no12(according to the pop up bars anyway!!
Very surprised at Katy B but very pleased for her and Ms Dynamite, hope there is a chance she can get to No 1.About time we had more female rappers and MCs in the charts.

Yeah, I have many songs with lyrics, but I often don't have a clue what they are, because that's not what I'm concentrating on. Exception is hip hop, where I often do concentrate on the lyrics, but many of them have fantastic beats aswell.

I don't never listen to ballads. I mean, there are lots of hip hop ballads (some people think there's no such thing as a hip hop ballad, but that's not true). I listen to some pop and RnB ballads too, but they're not my favourite type of music.

The one thing that I DO probably never listen to is country music.
