Really this comes as no suprise, of the final four Rebecca was the only one who I didnt think was an inevitability to be signed automatically but now that the overall votes over the all the live shows have been revealed it's again no real suprise given her popularity.

It really doesnt bode well for some of Syco's other less successful artists though does it if there are 4 new acts joining them.

 

Gotta say though, it's actually One Direction material that I'm looking forward too more than anything.

I'm so glad Rebecca's been signed! I was doubting whether she'd get one if she didn't win, but after Simon's comment on Saturday about her having "an incredible recording voice" or something similar, I thought he might sign her! I'm so excited for the album, and hopefully we'll get a studio version of 'Distant Dreamer'!

I wouldn't mind a studio version of Rebecca singing 'Wicked Game' - that was a brilliant performance from several weeks back. A slightly more polished version without the distant sounds of cheering and Louis Walsh going "woo!" in the background would be ideal.

 

Just don't get Rebecca to record tracks like 'Yesterday' by The Beatles as they really don't suit her vocal style.

Talking of naked photoshoots from reality boybands, have you seen F.Y.D's one in Gay Times? I WOULD. Except the one who looks like Bruno Mars. Ew.

I indeed have, and I indeed would. Much better looking than I remember them being. I would complain of their elimination but then the public would have been denied the utter genious of THE WAISSEL MONSTER.

 

Poor Bruno Mars lookalike. Every fit boyband needs it's token not quite as fit as the rest one, One Direction have Niall, The Wanted have Jay, JLS have the three that arent Marvin and such forth.

Matt was a deserving winner - but I do have a sneaky suspicion that if Rebecca had saved 'Amazing Grace' for a week and they'd decided on this as a Christmas single as opposed to the seriously duff Duffy track - we may have been looking at a different outcome.

I just heard it today for the first time, and its all kinds of epicness :dance:

 

A dance song aswel, think she really suits this style of music actually!

It may require her to actually move around stage whilst performing it however, I'm not sure that she's capable of that. :(

According to an Irish TV Show called XPose.. One Direction are supporting JLS on tour in January.. Makes sense as one of their support acts has pulled out, but people are saying that they aren't allowed to until after the X Factor tour
