April 20, 201114 yr Author Rumour that latest opinion poll has SNP with an 11% lead over Labour. If that's true, it looks like the Labour campaign is imploding :o Ouch! Could the SNP potentially be looking at an overall majority on those kind of figures?
April 20, 201114 yr Ouch! Could the SNP potentially be looking at an overall majority on those kind of figures? I don't think so. Not with PR.
April 20, 201114 yr Ouch! Could the SNP potentially be looking at an overall majority on those kind of figures? Possibly. They'd have enough support to push their referendum through with the Greens.
April 20, 201114 yr Very true. Ian Gray has all the charisma of a pot plant. One of his finest moments  04AQe5AXxnU Oh dear  I did like his comeback about being able to speak Portuguese but the rest was embarrassing.
April 20, 201114 yr He might have more chance of winning if he did all his interviews in Portuguese
April 20, 201114 yr Times/IPSOS poll apparently:- Constituency vote: SNP 45% Labour 34% Tory 10% LD 9% Regional List vote: SNP 42% Labour 32% Tory 10% LD 8%
April 20, 201114 yr The Lib Dem's 4th? OUCH. That should be enough to give the SNP near a majority. They'll certainly win.
April 20, 201114 yr Oh dear. Iain Gray actually seemed quite impressive when he spoke to us at the Labour Students conference in Glasgow. Clearly he doesn't perform quite so well when he isn't on friendly territory :(
April 21, 201114 yr The man is so impressive he managed to turn the Sun from certain labour backers to supporting the SNP despite being highly anti-independence.
April 21, 201114 yr Hey you. Ian Gray has battled his way through the genocide of Rwanda and the killing fields of Cambodia you know. Here's his bravery in action for all to see ^_^ This clip has given the Sun (and the country) much amusement this past week. A classic. LfQmg8VSj0E :P
April 21, 201114 yr The written account is even funnier 'past a man eating a chilli roll' Priceless Read this http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/scotland/F...way-.6747980.jp
April 21, 201114 yr I'm still LOL'ing at Phil's conversion to SNP voter. Didn't you once say you'd vote BNP before you voted SNP? http://members.lycos.co.uk/jodylei/Smilies/grin.gif
April 21, 201114 yr Lets not get ahead of ourselves. It's just a regional vote. I'd die before I voted for them in the national [Westminster] or constituency vote. Oh, and yes I believe I did say that.
April 21, 201114 yr A vote's a vote... I sense a slippery slope afoot anyway. Noticed any sudden changes of heart over Salmond? :kink:
April 21, 201114 yr Oh dear god no, the man is utterly revolting in every way. Nor will i have change my stance on Independence.
April 28, 201114 yr A Welsh Tory seems to have decided to attempt to be even more dishonest than the No to AV campaign. As the blogger points out, the Lib Dems have produced some rather iffy bar charts at times. However, I'm not aware of them using figures from two different elections to demonstrate that it is a two horse race. http://peterblack.blogspot.com/2011/04/rea...-bar-chart.html
April 28, 201114 yr LOL that's hilarious. Up here the poll following the one saying the SNP were on 45% puts them lower at 43%. The labour support is now bellow 30% however (iirc). If Labour had spend the time between polls doing more than screeching "Rouge Poll!" at anyone that would listen they might be higher.
