It's probably not that he can't get a hit, it's just that the song is really boring.

Was inevitable Black Eyed Peas were going to climb after last night/this morning, it was playing on ALL the music channels every hour at least :lol: and all the clubs no doubt! Could even climb to #1 but i hope What's My Name has a big enough lead to hold them off.

I think it's more Matt dropping as all the winner's singles do in the new year. But you are quite right, the place I was at last night played that stupid BEP song 3 times! <_<

Yeah definitely, x factor singles normally drop from selling so much in such a small amount of time, but the BEP song and Like A G6 were played non-stop! Also heard Firework, Forget You & Only Girl loads! And obviously 'I Gotta Feeling' :lol:

The place I went to for New Years, they played Matt Cardle's CD on repeat for the first 20 minutes! :drama: Aside from that, the most modern song played was Angels, although the average age of the people there was probably like 40, so it would've been unfair if we played The Time and Like a G6 the whole time, I guess. :(

 

It was fun a lot of fun though, the 70's and 80's music aside. :lol:

"Hello" is getting decent TV airplay but it's severely lacking in radio airplay which would help it go top 40.
