December 30, 201014 yr What's with all the random re-entries.. "A Year Without Rain", "Roman's Revenge" & "Peacock"?
December 30, 201014 yr Why are there so many re-entries this week? And lots of album tracks too. What's Space Bound by Eminem, Peacock by Katy Perry, and Marry Me by Bruno Mars doing in the chart? Actually, it seems like all the Eminem tracks have climbed this week. No Love has out-peaked where it charted on its single release week I think, Love the Way You Lie has climbed, Cinderella Man, Roman's Revenge and Space Bound are re-entries. Has Eminem been on TV or something? And I'm confused about Marry You. The only promotion that song has gotten is through Glee, so unless they've re-aried the episode or something? And Peacock? It wasn't long ago Katy announced her 4th single was E.T, so why is Peacock still selling more? Are radio just playing Peacock anyway? What makes these album tracks re-entering the chart even more weird is that this chart include airplay, so songs not released as single are at a strong disadvantage, yet they're still re-entering the chart... Sorry if my post seems annoying btw. Just confused at the buying habits of the US, although I'm not complaining. It makes for an interesting chart! Also, the obligatory, gutted that Stereo Love didn't climb, but still thrilled that it's even made it to the US in the first place! Absolutely fantastic for the song, it so deserves it! And congrats to Bruno for getting another #1. I'm not fond of the song, but I think Bruno Mars contributed a lot to mainstream music in 2010, so this is a great start to 2011 for him. :) Edited December 30, 201014 yr by Eric_Blob
December 30, 201014 yr Good to see LP climb a bit, and good entry for "I Just Had Sex" even if it's bombing over here :(

I'm not fond of the song, but I think Bruno Mars contributed a lot to mainstream music in 2010, so this is a great start to 2011 for him. :) Post-Christmas sales affected most the songs that either got huge boost and climbed or didn't get much boost and dropped ('Aston Martin Music' for example). All the non-singles or forthcoming singles charting benefitted from the sales boost as well as big stars like Katy Perry and Kesha and will drop next week. Eminem performed in Saturday Night Live and the album was on sale in iTunes. Also LTWYL gets some boost from year-end hype. 'Stereo Love' might re-peak or even reach a new peak next week. And regular chart notes: Bruno Mars gets his third #1 and 'Grenade' is the first new #1 of 2011. It sold 559 000 copies. Wiz Khalifa gets his first and Enrique Iglesias his fifth Top 10 single. Iglesias has two #1s: 'Bailamos' and 'Be with You'. The Lonely Island chart for third time. 'I Just Had Sex' is their first Top 40 hit. The most interesting re-entry is probably 'Pursuit of Happiness' by Kid Cudi featuring MGMT & Ratatat. It reached #59 but is from his debut album 'Man on the Moon: The End of Day' instead of the latest 'The Legend of Mr. Rager'. Edited December 31, 201014 yr by SKOB
December 31, 201014 yr The Cave on bubbling under and LLM back in the top 75 and getting a 20th (!) week :D Edited December 31, 201014 yr by ★ 2011 Bray ★
January 1, 201114 yr Ew @ Bruno Mars. Whiney old bore. finally, I thought I was the only one who doesn't like him.
January 1, 201114 yr  finally, I thought I was the only one who doesn't like him. I don't really like him either, but I don't hate him either, if that makes sense. I don't like his songs, but at least they sound a bit different to most other songs in the chart, and he hasn't got thousands of people saying thing like " He's the saviour of chart music" or "He's so original". Or at least, not yet. If lots and lots of people start saying things like that about him, I'll probably begin to get annoyed too.
January 1, 201114 yr Fantastic for Bruno! :D Really pleased for both him and Keri Hilson who finally goes Top 40 with 'Pretty Girl Rock'!
January 1, 201114 yr Fantastic for Bruno! :D Really pleased for both him and Keri Hilson who finally goes Top 40 with 'Pretty Girl Rock'! Yeah, I love Keri Hilson. I hope she can get another huge song sometime in 2011. In 2007, The Way I Are was massive, and in 2009 Knock You Down was massive, so this bodes well for her. I think Bruno will be massive this year too, especially if he can get on some more hip hop songs (which I doubt will be a problem tbh, everybody would love him on their songs ).

'Lose Control'
January 3, 201114 yr ven though 'Just the way you are' was the most boring song of the year, i luv 'Grenade' and it's great that it's number 1. really deserved it.
