It's got better with every listen, and now I can't stop playing it. "I Never Learnt To Share" and "To Care (Like You)" are just incredible. Looks like it might even sneak a week in the top 10, which would be amazing.
Even with the Sound Of 2011 placing, this making the top 10 would be a real achievement. It would definitely be the most successful leftfield album in quite a while.
I still haven't decided whether James Blake is the most important artist of our generation, or a Chris Morris-esque satire of the pretentiousness of indie scenesters and the music they follow.

Indeed, it's made the top 10! I honestly find similar, but more unknown artists like Balam Acab and Forest Swords to be more accessible. I'm amazed at how well it's done.

'Lindisfarne' video:

It's like an old-school Skins episode. Love.

'Lindisfarne' (parts I and II) are the best songs on the album, glad there's this new edit combining them. So damn good.

Someone recently told me to check him out. Talk Talk's spirit of Eden is a god damned breathtaking album so if there are any comparisons to that I'll have to check it out sooner rather than later.

Even if the comparison was to say it's a better take on similar musical concepts (sparsity, etc)
