Thanks JamesP great result, not been a big fan of Rihanna but her live performances have improved so much and she has truly ruled the charts this year.

The best possible outcome of the three that were left. I go through spells of loving and hating OG(ITW). It's quite strange  Lady GaGa's VERY lucky to have such a creative mind and produce top notch videos, as I'm pretty sure 'Telephone' wouldn't have done half as well without that video. It's quite generic for a GaGa song :(

This countdown GREATLY DISAPPOINTS ME.

Tinie as low as #14 and #11? Owl City only 7th? Predictable OG(ITW) win? :(

HOWEVER, it was a nice surprise that Yolanda got as high as #9 as almost everyone seems to hate that song.

'We No Speak Americano' is definitely a Marmite track but I think more people like the song on Buzzjack than people realise. It's great to see the track ending up at #9. :D

I think Only Girl is deserving. Yay at top 10 for Diana.
05 / B.o.B feat. Hayley Williams - Airplanes / 3710 POINTS

I think this is the first time in her life that Hayley Williams has or ever will make a song amazing.

HAHA... Perfect words.

I don't get the people who thought it was 'obvious' that 'Telephone' would win, as I was fully expecting OG(ITW) to win. You might have expected 'Telephone' to win, but why would it have been obvious when OG(ITW) was also a multichart #1, and Rihanna is bummed almost as much as GaGa on this site.

Pleased with the winner :D

So 2010 bought us The Wanted, a boy band of what look like pre teens who need to promise topless photos in a desperate attempt to gain album sales. Let’s face it, the only decent thing they’ve done is ‘Lose My Mind’.

Most things that TW & Hayley do are amazing ;)

NO, no they are not. Hayley needs to like, stop everything and go away.

Everything about Hayley is amazing. Her voice, her lyrics, her hair etc.

I grew to love 'We No Speak Americano' due to its uniqueness amongst a rather boring and samey year for hit singles. Hated it at first though.

I don't understand why 'Dynamite' isn't loved more on this site. It's no more generic than every song in the top 3 and it's ridiculously catchy. It's quite clever actually as it's totally filled with hooks everywhere. 'California Gurls' is pretty much the same in that respect, which isn't surprising considering they're both produced by the same people, but I think 'Dynamite' does it better.

Great result for Cee Lo, and Lady Gaga should have won out of the three it came down to IMO. I can't help but feel that if this competition was held in a few months time we'd be seeing a different result though... really don't get the love for 'Only Girl' at all and I doubt I ever will.

No.

Her lyrics are so generic.

AND HER HAIR is faker then her persona.

I am sure when Dynamite was released it was very popular on this site.It has become one of those songs that has been everywhere and been overplayed but I think it is one of Taios best songs.I could never put a Katy Perry song in my Top 10, has she ever managed to give a good live performance of any of her songs. Her producers are the best though.

The irony of these results is that when Dannyboy does the "LEAST Favourite of 2010s best selling singles", I can imagine people voting out tracks like 'Only Girl (In The World)', 'Telephone', etc... in the earlier rounds. So the ultimate winner would end up being a song that finished top 20 in this.

I doubt that. I mean, in 2009, Poker Face, Paparazzi and Bad Romance were the top 3, and in 2008, Hot N Cold, Don't Stop the Music and Disturbia were the top 3.

I'm sure the top 3 in 2010 will also consist of Rihanna, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga tracks, of which there will be 11 in the poll (Bad Romance, Telephone, Love the Way You Lie, Only Girl, Rude Boy, What's My Name?, California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Firework, Starstrukk and If We Ever Meet Again). I only like 5 or 6 of those 11 songs...

Also, this poll went so quickly! I went out for a little while, I come back and it's finished!

Also, really shocked that Rihanna won, although I'm very happy she did, as Only Girl is a much better pop song than Telephone tbh. Telephone isn't completely dreadful, and very good for a Gaga song. I think it was produced by a differenet person to her other singles, which could've helped.

And I love Hayley Willliams. I'll admit, I didn't care for her before Airplanes, but she is SOOOOOOOO amazing. I love her, and her hair is amazing too.

Also, Dynamite was very popular on here. It kept beating Teenage Dream in one of the ranking games if I remember, so it must've been loved!

'Promise This' really has flopped by Cheryl's standards! :o That run is awful for her. Why has the public all of a sudden turned on her?

It's still sold nearly 400k though, which is far too much for a song as vile as that.

When did Jack become a Hayley loon? HA!

I've LOVED Paramore for a couple of years now  They were my favourite band until The Wanted came along ^_^

To be fair, pretty much every song on this list was overplayed, so I don't see why 'Dynamite' was affected so badly it could only come 13th! I just think it seems a bit underrated here. I know there's the whole supposed "female bias!11!1" on this site but 'Dynamite' is definitely one song that should be able to break that considering it's essentially the same as most of the current female pop artists are doing these days. Ah well.

I agree with you on Katy Perry to be honest. She's definitely someone who has managed to get by off other people's backs rather than anything she herself has done (which is why she probably won't last or leave any legacy at all). Even her image and musical niché seems to be a bit all over the place

Amen to your Katy remarks I dont get why she gets a free pass for her woeful live singing so what if her songs are catchy.I think it is the tendency of the British pop loving public to hero worship American acts, Jason derulo is just as bad and cannot carry a tune live.Taio Cruz seems to have such a low profile compared to the girls though, he does not seem to do much promotion either.

Dynamite is still pretty much liked on here: I thought the initial reaction to it from posters was lukewarm, but it got top 3 on the multichart (very rare for a male artist), and most unforgettably- beat Teenage Dream to number 1 in the reshuffle chart for three weeks ON BUZZJACK, plus it finished 8th in the chart of the year there, 13th isn't that bad, but its tough for a male song to be universally liked, so Dynamite did pretty well to come 13th

Well deserved Rihanna, the end of 2010 definitely belonged to Rihanna! Well done Diana, number 8! :cheer: Hopefully 2011 will be Diana's year!!!!
