Anyone else think that Glee is just bleh nowdays? :( I still watch it but it doesn't leave me with that warm fuzzy feeling insde. Too many tributes and special episodes and truckloads of guest stars and the characters themselves are all over the place.

Exactly what i am feeling! They're trying too hard imo.

I blame lack of Sue Sylvester!

Oh no. :(

We already knew Justin Bieber's music will turn up on an upcoming episode of "Glee," but we weren't sure which smash the McKinley High crew would be remaking — until now.

"Glee" star Amber Riley confirmed to MTV News on Sunday (January 16) that not just one, but two Bieber jams will be made over by the cast of the hit song-and-dance show, including the Ludacris-assisted chart-topper "Baby," which was dubbed the most viewed music video on YouTube in 2010.

"There's gonna be two Bieber songs, and I think 'Baby' is one. I think that's correct," Riley disclosed on the Golden Globes red carpet.

According to Riley, the Gleeks are also set to rock another Bieber-helmed dance-floor filler: "Somebody to Love." "I think ... those are the two songs," she revealed.

"Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy also recently dished that part of Bieber's pop&B repertoire would make it into the show. In a very apt use of the pop star's teen-hysteria-inducing hits, Murphy said the Biebs' music would be the backdrop for a scene in which one of the fellas tries to win over one of the "Glee" ladies.

"Bieber comes up in episode 13 as a small plot point. Sam [Chord Overstreet] sings a J.B. song to win Quinn's [Dianna Agron] approval," Murphy said recently.

Amber Railey sounds SO enthuastic about it, doesnt she? Really, not looking forward at all but there you are.

Really have to agree with some of the comments above, the second series as I feared has really failed quite a few times. Making two of the first five episodes specials wasnt a good idea, especially considering that of the other three, one was dedicated to religion and the other was the first episode back.

Too many characters have nothing to do. Mercedes just gets handed some awful weight-related problem every now & then, Puck does nothing, Quinn has been ruined, Tina is stupidly underused, Emma dissapears for episodes on end, Terri might as well not be on the cast list.....

The Kurt storyline has been brilliantly handled but frankly thats it in terms of long-lasting storylines. I hate the fact they feel the need to pair them all up aswell.

I actually think, Glee will do very well with the Bieber songs.
Might make them listenable
At least

Born This Way

will balance out the crap in this episode, and i've just read will be sung by

Kurt, Blaine (his BF) and... Dave :o

That will be the best thing about this episode!

They should sing his version of Love Me :kink:
Aww, I wanted

Rachel, Finn or Mercedes

to sing

Born This Way

Can't stand Bieber, so I'm dreading that. But I'm thrilled at the prospect of Amber and Lea having a diva-off to something from Rent. Take Me or Leave Me is one of my favourite musical songs ever, and while I would love it to be that song, I can't see it.

The lyrics are two women in a relationship singing about each other's faults, so I'm not quite sure how that would work.

Funniest promo so far this season.

Not really feeling 'Baby', but they're doing 'SING' by My Chemical Romance? :o

Ha ha Sue in ND  Baby sounds AWFUL tbh :puke2: But then I hate both Sam and Justine, so yeah it wasn't looking good anyway :D

Artwork for the new songs are up on Amazon. I'll just post the songs in spoilers.

'Baby' - originally by Justin Bieber and Ludacris (Sam Evans)

'I Know What Boys Like' - originally by The Waitresses (Lauren Zizes )

'Sing' - originally by My Chemical Romance (Sue Sylvester and New Directions)

'Somebody to Love' - originally by Justin Bieber (I'm not sure who's singing this one)

'Take Me or Leave Me' - originally by Rent (Rachel Berry and Mercedes Jones)

I think

Somebody To Love

is supposed to be

Sam, Artie, Mike & Puck, but not Finn.

That's what I've read, not sure if it's confirmed.

I DO like Sam but he's such an average singer and the Glee Club already has Finn and Quinn covering all bases on that score.
Please dont tell me they're ALL going to end up being Bieber fans by the end of the episode. If they're suppose to be normal teenagers, everyone would form an orderly line and punch Sam in the face after he's finished singing.
