Very true and whats more The Album is now in the top 50 on the I tunes chart and after 1 week outside of the Official Albums chart top 100

it's now climbed back in

As a download Act Mcfly are getting much better with Party Girl selling alot more downloads and staying on the I tunes chart quite a few weeks and then Shine at light 10th week and no sign if giving up.

At this rate it will still be on the Charts Come 6th March when 'Thats The Truth' is released:-)

I'm sure you'll discover at that point, that it was *only* Taio's fanbase holding that up - if TTT is McFly-only it'll perform their standard plummet.

Taio does not have a dedicated fanbase.

Also his part is miniscule in SAL.

Glee are doing less well than I expected, which is a good thing.

22. Telephone (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

30. Empire State of Mind (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

36. Listen (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

40. Billionaire (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

49. What I Did for Love (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

I realise it's early though, Telephone will probably still go iTunes top 10 but I would've though it'd be top 20 at least by now for it to have any chance at top 10 officially - I can't remember where TEOTH was at this point?

Yeah can't see any of them being top 10 officially - TEOTH was #7 by this point already.

Although, having said that, Halo/WOS was #14 on iTunes at this point and charted #9 officially.

Has Leona got a boobjob ?

The pic in your avatar is "impressive", she's really working her breast with that dress.

 nah, Leona is all natural....she has just usually hidden them away! Lovin her sexier image recently :)

Adele might start to slip down a bit later in the week - would be good to see WTC? in Top 5 iTunes.

Hoping Rolling in the Deep can do well off the back of MYFML's resurgence on iTunes and the chart in general!

I dont understand the fuss over Rolling In The Deep. I heard it yesterday & it was really boring

She could've done, they look like implants in the centre picture. You never know, and it doesn't matter to me. ^_^

GLEE WATCH:

 Telephone #15

 Empire State Of Mind #23

 Listen #27

 Billionaire #29

 What I Did For Love #45

Surprised that Listen is doing better than Billionaire. :o

What's been the best charting songs from the first Glee episode in other countries?

I think its pretty much been proven that its not Taio's fanbase, as he doesn't really have one. He just appeals to general music lovers - and Shine a Light has done the same.

The question is whether or not these buyers will enjoy the new single as much. Its different in style. I've said before that they have tracks on the album which should really appeal to them (Nowhere Left to Run/ Take Me There). I'm not sure if That's the Truth is one them, however it is a hit with fans and I really like it. It is one of their stronger tracks. I honestly can't see it having a run like Shine a Light, though. McFly are certainly at their most unpredictable right now, though.

All of those are now up another 1 except Listen and Billionaire

I don't know about other countries but ESoM was the biggest in the USA.

I'm pleased to see they're still underperforming compared to what I expected :D I would think only 2 will go top 40 now, maybe even just Telephone - the songs do fall a lot over the week, IIRC 4 Minutes went top 20 on iTunes but only got to #42 officially

"Shine a Light" hasn't sold well because of Taio Cruz's fanbase (like others have said, he doesn't really have one) - BUT I do have a feeling Taio's presence on the artist label gave it some much-needed credibility in the eyes of people who usually would never consider buying a McFly single. Even though everyone who bought it genuinely liked the song, I don't think we can conclude that that means they'd consider buying a normal McFly single purely because of their lack of credibility without a more respected artist like Taio Cruz alongside.

Official charts:

Aus, Can, Ire, US

Telephone - #30, #17, #18, #23

Listen - #87, #51, #33, #38

What I Did For Love - --, #63, --, #51

Empire State Of Mind - #20, #25, #20, #21

Billionaire - #34, #24, #15, #28

As for iTunes, I only know that ESOM & Telephone got up to #1 & #2 in the US.

Eyes Wide Shut #11 :o :) One of their biggest hits yet?

It isn't even released for another week. Surely another no.1?

Probably too many album sales / too much competition.

Surely that's bad for them? It can't help the new single if the old one is still hanging around, that's been shown before.

But *has* it?

Having old singles hanging around doesn't seem to affect Rihanna, for example.
