Bit shocked that Telephone is the highest Glee song, thought for sure it would be Empire State of Mind.

Me too. I think Empire State of Mind got to #1 on US iTunes! :o

'Telephone' sounds like one of those cheap fake versions. 'Empire State Of Mind' is far superior.
I didn't like any from that episode to be honest. :( Although Empire State of Mind is sort of cool how they sang along with the piano melody during the rap verses in some parts. I think next week is the episode with Toxic in though. That'll be even bigger than Telephone, I suspect.
Higher is #1 in Luxembourg!?!? :o Didn't think that song would get #1 anywhere, although that's promising for the UK. :)

YAY for HIAM being #1 :D

BRITNEY IS MAKING THE WORLD HER BITCH.

I highly doubt there'll be any more than one Glee song ahead of it officially :P

I'm just surprised the Glee Songs are still climbing - I assumed they'd start to lose momentum, 24 hours or so after the show.

It was #100 in the last update?

Pfft, I was looking at the wrong version.

The other one is up to #205 :kink:

They had quite good longevity last season, spent three or four days climbing and peaking before falling again, similar to X Factor tracks.

I remember some of the Glee tracks being non-movers in the official chart last year. I might be wrong, as this is off the top of my head, but I think some like Gives You Hell and Halo/Walking On Sunshine managed to be non-movers. I think there were a few that managed to climb aswell. Defying Gravity and Bad Romance, maybe?
Did they push back Ke$ha's release date? I know she was supposed to go head to head with Adele, but I just noticed that DS (they're normally reliable when it comes to singles release dates) have changed the release date and now have it under the week of January 24th.
It's too late to get number one on official chart after only 1 day of being on top on Itunes right?
Hang on, just doing a swift operation :epic fail leader:

Empire State Of Mind was easily my favourite of the Glee Songs. Expected it to be the highest especially as it was used in most of the tv adverts too

JLS are on the chart show on Sunday, which makes me think that they may move the release date forward (Well that's what I'm hoping)

Being on the show to see where it charts 4 weeks before release is a bit soon right ? Normally they never really acknowledge the fact that the song is available to download from the album before the release date
