Yeah 3x, I'm Not Alone by Calvin Harris and Eyes Wide Shut are all very similar.

 

I think Eyes Wide Shut also sounds like Heaven by DJ Sammy, Miami 2 Ibiza by Swedish House Mafia/Tinie Tempah and Good Times by Roll Deep/Jodie Connor in some ways.

I don't know. I think some rappers, whenever they need an extra syllable or two somewhere, they just throw in the F-word, as it seems to be able to fit in any sentance and still make sense (look how many times you could fit it into the sentance I've just written, if you wanted extra syllables for some reason :lol:).

 

Also, with some rappers, it seems like they're swearing a lot, but they're not actually swearing that much, it's just that if they say 500 words in a song, and swear 5 times, it seems like more than when a singer sings 100 words in a song, an swears once, even though they're both using the same proportion of swear words. Some rappers fit so much lyrical content into such a small space of time that this will translate to more swear words per second, whilst in some pop songs, it can take the singer like 15 seconds to sing a 6-word long phrase, so that will obviously translate to less swear words per second.

Having read these comments about it originally being 4th single, now 5th I wonder if Tinie and Ellie are planning on performing this at The Brits? If that was the case, then it would probably explain why they've left it until now to release as the next single. Certainly didn't do Florence/Dizzee any harm.

They performed the song together at the Brits Launch yesterday, so I can't see them doing it again

Are they even allowed to perform songs that weren't released as singles in 2010? Considering the BRITS are about celebrating the best of 2010 etc... etc... :unsure:
