She's the only reason why i tuned in. :lol: I'm turning into a J-LOON. :wub:

I tuned in because all the other shows I watch seem to be on a break for the next couple of weeks and I needed something else to watch :lol: Now I'm already addicted.

He was great, but probably for all the wrong reasons. It was made even funnier when he said he wasn't even a Miley fan really.

I've never really watched AI much before, but I gave it a shot and am surprised, I really enjoyed it :o Don't think Simon is really needed, the judges seemed good as they were. J-Lo & Steven Tyler were both better than I was expecting, and I don't mind Randy either. A couple of singers I really liked, I agreed with the decisions that the judges made. Reminds me that auditions are much better in private rather than in front of a live audience. Will try and stick with it until the end now, and hopefully they can produce another Kelly Clarkson/Jordin Sparks/Adam Lambert. Is the winner always signed to Interscope? Seems like a good label to be signed to, with acts such as GaGa & the BEP.

It just seems a whole lot better without Simon there at all. Steven Tyler is brilliant, he always had me (and you can hear the production crew in the background sometimes) in stitches! J. Lo isn't too bad either, I expected worst but she comes across as really friendly.

 

I think the show just works a lot better this time around because it's a lot more 'musical'. You have three people who certainly do know a lot about music, whereas quite clearly, you can tell that Simon doesn't know the first thing when it comes to it.

From 4:31, the audition had my in stitches where Steven is just singing along and then is just like, "I don't think so". Made me laugh, sad I know :(

I watch every year regardless of what happens.

I watched a little of this before Bones on Thursday, thankfully it's still a ratings powerhouse which is giving my favourite show a nice ratings boost ^_^

LMAO at the video and part Josh just posted! :lol: Amazing. I love that girl at the start of the video though! :o Also, Paris was fantastic! She's amazing too. They're the only clips I've seen :lol: But I agree about this year looking better than previous years! Whether it's because the judges have actual knowledge of the music business or whatever, I don't know. But there's something about the production which makes it seem better.

Steven is absolutely brilliant. What a perfect choice he was. He's so funny. That clip was brilliant. I laughed out loud at his "I don't think so" when I was watching the episode. J-Lo was good, but I think she's going to struggle when it comes to the really hard decisions. I'll definitely keep watching though, even if it's just for Steven.

I asked one of my friend's to guess her age today, he said early 30s and I'd have said the same, just from looking at her face and estimating how long she'd been in the business.

I think the series works much better this time round.

I agree I think Jennifer comes off well as a judge although I'm kind of sensing the producers were expecting a bit of a Cheryl Cole-esque aura. Steven Tyler is a bit eh as a judge but Randy seems to be a bit more relaxed this year.
