March 23, 201114 yr J-LO IS HOTTER THAN EVER BEFORE. #1 on Sunday with ease I predict! Edited March 23, 201114 yr by Karma
March 23, 201114 yr If she got #1, would she have UK #1's in 3 consecutive decades or 2? Get Right was 2005 and OTF would be 2011, when was Love Don't Cost a Thing released?
March 23, 201114 yr Was the Lambada song big in the UK ? It would be interesting to see what "On the floor" would do in a country where the 'sample' of the song isn't known. To be fair, wherever it charted when originally released, it's just so popular now. I doubt there's anybody who doesn't recognize the sample! And I hope On the Floor goes to #1!! We can't have Someone Like You get 6 weeks. :(
March 23, 201114 yr Covers for Papi and I'm into You http://thatgrapejuice.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/intopapi.jpg So Papi and I'm Into You are the next singles? Those cover look like they came out of a 80s US sit-com! EDIT: more like a mexican telenovela! Edited March 23, 201114 yr by nicco
March 23, 201114 yr I'm Into You is the next proper single, Papi is a buzz single, kinda like Good Hit.

March 24, 201114 yr I have no idea how it took me until a week and a half ago to discover this, because it's a f***ing tune. Literally the best thing i've heard so far in 2011. The beat is just so addictive. I wish they'd say Ibiza properly though. As two people of Latin descent they should be more than capable of pronouncing it correctly. J-Lo is looking mighty fine in the video, that ass and those pins  Incredible dancing too.
March 24, 201114 yr I heard this on Radio 1 Floorfillers today!!! They said they played a remix of it. I don't know which one, but it was amazing!!!! I LOVE this song. Yeah. It's like Alors on danse from last year. Got #1 in almost every country in the entire of Europe! Then UK, #25. :nocheer:  I like the UK's charts, in general, but some such stupid things happen in them sometimes. Like the best-selling song of last year not getting to #1. Like seriously? Rant over. I hope this does well!! That said, it might be best that they front-load the song in the UK. I doubt it'd be #1 on UK iTunes like everywhere else in the world if it was released now. The UK was the only country that could see Alors On Danse for what it was. Utter $h!te. Worst song of 2010 by a f***ing mile Apparently the Spanish is appalling and doesn't actually make any sense to those who know the Spanish language LOL. Bilingual fail. Given that they can't even pronounce Ibiza are you in anyway surprised?

March 24, 201114 yr Alors on danse? :o The worst song of 2010?! :o But...it's incredible! :( I just find it so dreary and dull.
March 24, 201114 yr Author Does Stereo Love sample Lambada then because i thought this sounded eerily like Stereo Love and thought Stereo Love reminded me of something! :P No it doesnt. But yeah, this sounds like Lambada and Stereo Love. Basically it uses the same instruments of Stereo Love, but the melody is from Lambada
March 24, 201114 yr MTV new today reported that Redone has revealed that Lady Gaga has penned tracks for Jennifer Lopez new album Love?
March 24, 201114 yr Does Stereo Love sample Lambada then because i thought this sounded eerily like Stereo Love and thought Stereo Love reminded me of something! :P What Euphorique said, basically. On the Floor sounds like Stereo Love, not because they use the same sample (because they don't), but because they have similar instruments, create a similar mood, etc. Stereo Love sampled this song: fSuRaYaaUR8

March 26, 201114 yr Jlo confirms she prepping for a worldtour and she will tour/visit australia for her fans down under again. :) Love is in the air for Lopez http://resources0.news.com.au/images/2010/02/16/1225830/845376-jenni MOST women returning from maternity leave wouldn't face the challenges that Jennifer Lopez set herself. But she's no ordinary working mother. After all, what 41-year-old-mother of twin toddlers is riding high at the top of America's Billboard charts, has a body many would envy and a gig on one of the world's most watched TV shows? "Just like any working mum, it's a juggling act and a balancing act," Lopez says. "It is a challenge, it really is. "You want those kids first and foremost to be healthy and happy and feel loved and cared for but at the same time, you've got this job that you hopefully love and want to do well." The star is speaking on the phone from the US, talking to The Sunday Telegraph as one of few interviews for her album Love? If the first single is anything to go by, Lopez has another hit on her hands. On The Floor, featuring Pitbull, topped the US Billboard Charts and came in at No.1 on the ARIA Charts last week. Proclaimed as her comeback single, it's her first No.1 single in Australia in 12 years, following 1999's If You Had My Love. Lopez has also managed to increase her mainstream popularity as a judge on American Idol, alongside Steve Tyler and Randy Jackson. "I just feel blessed," Lopez says. "I try to take it one day at a time. I am very grateful, I love all of my fans, they have been very supportive of me over the years and I am just excited about everything." Just don't call it a comeback. "I don't feel like it's a comeback because I've been working the whole time, like when I had my babies. But I guess for some people they would think that or say it. "Music is in my heart, it always has been and it always will be. I just love making music. "It's taken me two years to make this album so, like I said, I am glad everyone is receiving it well." Lopez gave birth to twins Emme Maribel and Maximillian David in February 2008. Fellow musician Marc Anthony is her third husband and father to the twins, who she says were a huge inspiration for the new album. "When I first started making the record I didn't even know what I wanted to do," she says. "But then somewhere along the line, and I think it had something to do with giving birth and having babies, you look at the world in a different way and I started thinking about love and what unconditional love was and how we act and what people do. "Once you get past the party on the album, and you listen to some of the words, you will see that I really talk about the power of love but also the devastation of it and everything in between." Lopez is busily preparing for her first full-scale world tour, promising all the "bells and whistles" of a big show. And Australian fans will be happy to know Lopez is planning a trip here, her first in more than a decade. "It's been a long time coming for sure," she says. "I enjoyed my time in Australia and I want to go back." It's hard to believe someone of Lopez's calibre has never toured internationally. "My fans have waited a long time for this. That's the one question I get the most on Twitter: when am I going to tour? :D :P 8-) :D Born to Puerto Rican parents, her mum a kindergarten teacher and her father a computer specialist, Lopez had humble beginnings in The Bronx, New York. She emerged on the scene as a dancer in the late 1980s and quickly became an international star, turning her fledgling music career into a global empire and maintaining a dual career as actress and singer. About to turn 42 in July, Lopez says she is at the peak of her career and, having been in the business a long time, finally appreciates everything she has achieved. ""I have always just concentrated on trying to be the best that I can be in every way and just do my best work" she says. "I feel like at this point I am even more capable of doing better than when I first started because I know more and I have experienced more. "I just feel really lucky that I still have the opportunity, that the fans are embracing me and that I have been this fortunate." The move into TV with American Idol has also been a huge success for Lopez, introducing her to a young audience while rekindling her former fan base. "I'm loving it, really having a good time," she says with passion of the show, for which she took over the judging from Paula Abdul. "It gives me an outlet to talk about things that I love, which is music and art and performing, what that is and to share some of the experiences that I've had with artists that are just starting out. "I try to mentor them and give them the little tidbits I have after being in the business for a while." While Lopez's career is going strong, she says she would like to have more children. "If it happens, it would be the biggest blessing in the world and I would be very happy," she says. On The Floor is out now. Love? is released on April 22
