It's to differentiate it from the billy joel record of the same name

The OCC calls it that. I guess so it doesn't get confused with the Billy Joel song.

I don't know. Perhaps it's an alternate title or something?

What I do know though, is that song is far from amazing -_- (in my opinion).

Finally 2 fantastic songs in a row!!!! Me & You is just incredible. Firework is definitely one of the happiest songs in the charts now. So uplifting and positive. :)

I think gift card week was in full swing the week it was released, and when that wore off the next week it sort of catapulted it a bit, plus with climbing naturally.

Hmmm, I suppose, but I still think 73-29 seems a bit *too* big for that... but I'll just shut up now and be happy it happened I guess :P

Firework still sounds great after all these weeks

Very healthy chart run for Firework as well..... getting a bit old now whereas FU and JTWYA still sounding good.
You have an extra 9 i believe :P

Thanks for pointing that out, I've amended it.

Vice-versa don't you mean? :P

At least it's avoided the 21-40 curse you mention.

True, but that only seems to happen to my absolute favourites (Satellite, Alors On Danse, Waka Waka, Wonderful Life...:drama:)

I thought this was going to spend an eternity in the top 10

Kinda fell out of the top 10 all of a sudden.

ah thats why i was singing the Billy Joel one in week one

Vice-versa don't you mean? :P

That's what I thought.

It's just his opinion though, I suppose. But Forget You sounded about 40 years old the first time I heard it, let alone on what must be my 257th listen now. :drama: It sounds like a classic because it sounds ancient.

Perhaps Solveig making the top 20 is signalling the beginning of the end to the curse? I hope so, it is a bit stupid that songs which were so big just a couple of hours max away from us can flop here.
