January 16, 201115 yr 19 [13] // WILLOW - “Whip My Hair” 2-9-9-9-9-13-19- You have an extra 9 i believe :P
January 16, 201115 yr why does this have the word (Amazing) after the title when its not on the official CD single or the sleeve (i know it wasnt released on CD IN the UK) It's to differentiate it from the billy joel record of the same name
January 16, 201115 yr Hope this plummets now tbh, I am well and truly bored of it & it has been overplayed.
January 16, 201115 yr why does this have the word (Amazing) after the title when its not on the official CD single or the sleeve (i know it wasnt released on CD IN the UK) The OCC calls it that. I guess so it doesn't get confused with the Billy Joel song.
January 16, 201115 yr why does this have the word (Amazing) after the title when its not on the official CD single or the sleeve (i know it wasnt released on CD IN the UK) I don't know. Perhaps it's an alternate title or something? What I do know though, is that song is far from amazing -_- (in my opinion). Finally 2 fantastic songs in a row!!!! Me & You is just incredible. Firework is definitely one of the happiest songs in the charts now. So uplifting and positive. :)
January 16, 201115 yr I think gift card week was in full swing the week it was released, and when that wore off the next week it sort of catapulted it a bit, plus with climbing naturally. Hmmm, I suppose, but I still think 73-29 seems a bit *too* big for that... but I'll just shut up now and be happy it happened I guess :P Firework still sounds great after all these weeks
January 16, 201115 yr Very healthy chart run for Firework as well..... getting a bit old now whereas FU and JTWYA still sounding good.
January 16, 201115 yr You have an extra 9 i believe :P Thanks for pointing that out, I've amended it.
January 16, 201115 yr Very healthy chart run for Firework as well..... getting a bit old now whereas FU and JTWYA still sounding good. Vice-versa don't you mean? :P

January 16, 201115 yr At least it's avoided the 21-40 curse you mention. True, but that only seems to happen to my absolute favourites (Satellite, Alors On Danse, Waka Waka, Wonderful Life...:drama:)
January 16, 201115 yr Still loving this Ellie version - holding up well as thought would fall quickly after Xmas.
January 16, 201115 yr I thought this was going to spend an eternity in the top 10  Kinda fell out of the top 10 all of a sudden. Edited January 16, 201115 yr by Storm Lee
January 16, 201115 yr It's to differentiate it from the billy joel record of the same name ah thats why i was singing the Billy Joel one in week one
January 16, 201115 yr Vice-versa don't you mean? :P That's what I thought. It's just his opinion though, I suppose. But Forget You sounded about 40 years old the first time I heard it, let alone on what must be my 257th listen now. :drama: It sounds like a classic because it sounds ancient.
January 16, 201115 yr True, but that only seems to happen to my absolute favourites (Satellite, Alors On Danse, Waka Waka, Wonderful Life...:drama:) Perhaps Solveig making the top 20 is signalling the beginning of the end to the curse? I hope so, it is a bit stupid that songs which were so big just a couple of hours max away from us can flop here.
January 16, 201115 yr the question is JLS in the top 5 or the 10 ?? Edited January 16, 201115 yr by Irish Pete
