As for the 365 others who posted this week, you’ll have to try harder if you want a place on this most prestigious of charts!

And as always…

Edited by Tyler

Holy crap, 23th? That must be a record for me, across all boards I've ever been to.

Unfortunately, I doubt every week will feature the chart show, Unknown Pleasures, by-elections and rants against the left, so this is really a one-off for me.

Xtina's Bionic chart run doesn't look so bad now

DROPPING :cheer:

Yay, i've gained a life.

It says "drop it like a hood"...

lol. It says "POP".

In America (maybe in Europe too) it is common to say "pop the hood to the car" so that you can look at the engine. This is where the lyric came from.

Now you know. :drink:

It says "drop it like a hood"...

How embarrasing for you.

Not exactly... I didn't know of the Americanism, so therefore assumed one can only drop their hood of their jacket, and have no idea how they would pop it...

I have no idea who Norman Lamont is, so find something different or I'll keep popping it like a hood, thanks ^_^

He was Chancellor of the Exchequer under John Major. He had an advisor called David Cameron.

Go educate yourself on the reference to fisting him, then come back to me.

Lol 79th to 6th. Major fail @ me.

Can tell i've moved back to my flat in Dundee.

I've heard of the phrase 'pop the hood' before. It may be an Americanism but it's one of the less revolting and it's meaning is quite well known in the UK.
