Posted January 18, 201114 yr The episode due to be shown the day after St. Valentine's Day is to be called Silly Love Songs, and rumoured songs so far are Robin Thicke 'When I Get You Alone' and Wings 'Silly Love Songs'... I've not heard either, but there we go. * Speaking of the Valentine’s outing: Though the day is meant for lovers, Lea Michele told TVLine’s Megan Masters that for Rachel, the episode “is mainly about being single.” But don’t be sad for Ms. Berry. Of her character’s current lovelorn status, Lea said, “I’m enjoying it!” Source OOH ALSO: However, Jenna Ushkowitz explained that her character Tina will be happy in her relationship with Mike (Harry Shum Jr). "I don't want to give too much away but Tina gets to sing and it's for Mike," she said. "Tina and Mike have actually gotten to live out a relationship so I'm really happy about that and you'll see some loners couple up." Glee returns for a new episode in the US on February 6 after the Super Bowl on Fox. The second season continues in the UK on Mondays at 9pm on E4. Source. Edited January 18, 201114 yr by THEO.
January 18, 201114 yr HOORAH for Tina & Mike together. Of the little bits we see of them together as a couple they're just fabolous. The Artie/Tina split has really worked out for the best I think.
January 18, 201114 yr 15th? I was thinking we were getting it the Tuesday after the super-bowl :( I think the way Fox has played it is that the Superbowl episode it that weeks ep moved forwards by a couple of days. The fact that it's the first episode back should give it quite high ratings, the Superbowl could make it the highest rated non-sporting telecast of the Fox season.
January 19, 201114 yr A FOX press release still seems to be saying that we're getting an episode on the 8th  **SPECIAL EPISODE**—“GLEE”—(Approx. 10:30-11:30 PM ET/Approx. 7:30-8:30 PM PT) CC-HDTV 720p-Dolby Digital 5.1 THE GLEE CLUB SCORES A TOUCHDOWN ON AN ALL-NEW “GLEE” FOLLOWING “SUPER BOWL XLV” SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 6, ON FOX Another All-New Episode of GLEE Airs This Tuesday, February 8 at 8/7c Full press release in the 2.11 thread. January 20, 201114 yr HOORAH for Tina & Mike together. Of the little bits we see of them together as a couple they're just fabolous. The Artie/Tina split has really worked out for the best I think. I love Tina (and Sunshine, Mike less so) but doesn't the whole thing seem a bit backwards-racist? I mean, they met at Asian Camp? What the utter hell? If that actually exists America is more trouble than I thought.
January 20, 201114 yr I think it's just taking the p*** :kink: although i just found this on goolge: http://www.asiancamp.com/
January 20, 201114 yr Song news from Digital Spy: TV Guide says that 'Silly Love Songs', which is due to air on February 8, will feature Rachel (Lea Michele) singing the Katy Perry track 'Firework'. Puck (Mark Salling) will take on Queen's 'Fat Bottomed Girls' Artie (Kevin McHale) will sing Michael Jackson's 'P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)' Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) will perform 'My Funny Valentine' by Babes In Arms. Meanwhile, Blaine (Darren Criss) and the Warblers will sing both Robin Thicke's 'When I Get You Alone' and Paul McCartney's 'Silly Love Songs' Hmm They sure love Katy Perry songs! Must be top of the wishlist for a cameo!
January 20, 201114 yr I can't see Katy turning down a cameo for the show either tbh. (Unless she was touring or whatever at the time they wanted her.) JUST ASK HER, RYAN! :(
January 20, 201114 yr Why does Artie get so many solos  Don't like his voice :( He gets more than Finn tbh nowadays :(
January 20, 201114 yr Too many songs for one episode :( Although I love the Britney episode, that's what I was thinking while watching on Monday. Can't see them doing Firework. Isn't California Gurls pretty much confirmed for the Super-bowl episode, and they shouldn't do all three singles from the era so far.
January 20, 201114 yr Author Can't wait for 'Firework'! :D It's probably not going to be as good as the original, but I hope it's not awful like 'Teenage Dream'. And Jack, I'm sure it really doesn't matter whether they've performed all three songs in an artist's "era"; if the music fits, they're going to use it...
January 20, 201114 yr Seems a bit much, especially when the album is less than a year old. Like they're just including it for the sake of it being popular. All in the space of 6 episodes  Edited January 20, 201114 yr by Jack Sykes
January 20, 201114 yr When's the episode Rachel apparently sings 'Hurt', by Christina Aguilera? REALLY looking forward to hearing her version of that! Would have thought it'd have been this episode...
January 21, 201114 yr I was just watching Bones on a live stream of Fox and there was an advert about Tuesday's and a new comedy line up starting on Feb 8th following 'All New Glee' :funky:
January 22, 201114 yr I love Firework (my fave Katy song and my top song of 2010), but Lea's voice is annoying me, would rather Mercedes, Tina or Finn sang it tbh
