If you think this Pitbull song is bad, wait until you hear his song that samples "Americano."

It's not a good idea for Pitbull to describe himself as "self-made millionaire" in his rap, given that he's built a career in sampling other people's work.

'Toxic' was actually quite good until the first chorus, then it went rapidly downhill.

Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor) I quite like on first listen.

AS IF PITBULL SAMPLED 'PUSH IT'. That song is a CLASSIC and he has slaughtered it! :manson:
This version of Higher is soooo wrong. I want the version featuring Kylie. :(

Multi-talented R&B artist, songwriter and producer, Taio Cruz signed a US publishing deal at the tender age of 18. Hailed as 'the new Babyface', the precocious Londoner earnt songwriting credits for Usher, Mya and Britney, and worked with Jazze Pha and Rich Harrison before his first release. On his debut album DEPARTURE (2008), Cruz inevitably shone in every department. From sweet and smooth vocals to the crisp and slick beats, DEPARTURE boasted individuality and style, and included the UK top five hit single "Come On Girl", a duet with Luciana. - HMV

LOL, they are refusing to play the Kylie version really! They refuse even to mention her!

I love Higher, particularly the chorus - I don't mind either Kylie or Travie on this record. Shame the last single 'Falling In Love' bombed and got no airplay though. (It was on the release schedule for late December)

This is slightly better than Taio Cruz's normal stuff.

Why Travie rather than Kylie? Why choose the version with the flavor of the month rather than the pop legend Ms Minogue?

Higher  The Kylie version at least, Chavie McCoy not so much.

Your sojourn in the US has affected your spelling :o

Well I'm crediting this to Taio feat. Kylie anyway... whatever Travie.

It doesn't even have the video...? I don't think it was released as the single at all.

Every decade has a teenybopper band that takes the charts by storm, and the early 1990s saw Take That picking up in the U.K. where '80s American teen stars New Kids On The Block left off. Led by songwriter and lead vocalist Gary Barlow, Take That hit it big with a mixture of dance-pop and heart-tugging ballads. After Robbie Williams's departure in 1995, the group held on long enough to release a greatest-hits package before calling it quits. Take That, minus Williams, re-united in 2006 for an unlikely but triumphant return to the centre stage with hit singles and albums, multiple music award gongs, as well as critical reappraisal. TT's 2009 The Circus Live tour became the fastest-selling in UK history. - HMV

I like 'Higher' with Travie McCoy. This version has more of Taio in it and doesn't rely on female vocals for success. It sounds like his other songs but sounds good at the same time!
