Just interested to know who Buzzjack think will win what award and who they personally would like to win themselves. The second category is for Best British & International Breakthrough.

Both are voted by the public. Can't see anyone beating Bieber in International and Tinie has British in the bag too imo as he probably has the biggest fanbase

Ohhh right! :o I don't think Bieber's fanbase is THAT big in the UK. Yes he has a pretty solid fanbase, but it's no bigger than Glee's. Seeing as this is a publically voted award, maybe Glee have a chance then! :o

I think he is the only truly deserving winner imo, as I hate Justin Bieber and it really is all hype, I like Glee but they don't deserve to be up as their not proper artists , I don't know enough of Temper Trap or The National (the former I love one song, but the latter I don't know) so Bruno, having had two huge solo hits, many other featuring hits, writing some of the top successful and acclaimed hits, his music is pretty good, credible music in itself, he wrote and produced most of his album

 

edit: you all really think Bruno has it in the bag :o do you know how big Justin Bieber's fanbase is? :o

how do you make polls? i made the previous Brit Awards predict which you locked but i also made a poll, but it didn't show it :S

Oh I didnt realise International Breakthrough was also public voted, in that case I think it's Biebers for the taking. Voted Bruno otherwise for taking it and Glee being my own choice.

 

I think Ellie has British Breakthrough, I'd prefer the XX winning myself.

I think Ellie will win, which I wouldn't mind, but I'd prefer Tinie to win.

 

For international acts, I'm not a huge fan of any. I kind of want Dustbin Bieber to win, because I feel so sorry for him. :( But on the other hand, if he does win, he'll just get even more hated (if that's possible). However, if he doesn't win, everybody will be all like "Haha, what a loser!" Poor guy. :( It would've been best for him if he just didn't get nominated tbh, even though he clearly is one of the biggest international breakthrough acts of the year.

 

Similar situation with Glee Cast to Justin Bieber to be honest, although on a less extreme scale. I think they have less hardcore fans, and they're not hated quite as much.

 

I think Bruno Mars should win, as he's offered the most to mainstream music in 2010 imo. Seriously, I can see Billionaire, Forget You and Just the Way You Are all being future classics to be honest, no matter how average I find them. Just seeing the impact they've had on the people I associate with, I can't imagine them being forgotten for a long time. And Heart FM will play his non-hip hop songs for years too...

 

However, in terms of which my favourite is, I'm not a huge fan of any of them, but I have 4 Glee Cast songs on my mp3 player, 1 Justin Bieber song, and 0 songs from the others, so I guess Glee Cast have done the best in 2010 for me, personally.

Tinie Tempah has been the best British newcomer we've seen in years, Dustbin has a big fanbase but Bruno is much better and should win! Even if his songs are a bit boring its at least better than Bieber & Gleeeeee

The words get a grip spring to mind. You seem more affected by Justin Bieber's "haters" than he probably is himself. People who are in the spotlight expect to get a bit of hatred and they don't let it affect them. They have to learn to develop a thicker skin at the end of the day.
